Argoed Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed mansion, set in picturesque gardens and woodland, with breath taking views over the River Dee. Argoed Hall is situated in Froncysyllte, Llangollen, and is a moment’s walk from a famous world heritage site.

Argoed Hall has been converted into 4 luxury houses, known as wings, sleeping between 2 and 36 guests. Argoed Hall has retained many original features, such as fireplaces, parque flooring, a grand 200-year-old staircase, but boasts many modern luxuries for gracious holiday living.

Argoed Hall can be used for self catering, or catered holidays and celebrations. We can provide a variety of options including a delicious three-course meal, summer BBQ or hog roast.

The four wings of Argoed Hall are furnished to a 5 star standard, and include the following:

The kitchens

Fitted oak with granite worktops, Belfast sinks, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, Rangemaster ;duel fuel 6 burner 2 oven cooker, extensive range of quality utensils ,crockery and cutlery.

The lounges

Italian leather sofas, oak furniture, chandeliers and mood lighting, large TV, DVD and stereo with docking station.

Bedrooms

A mixture of single, twin and doubles. Master bedrooms are en-suite, several of the other bedrooms are also en-suite. All bedrooms are furnished with Oak beds (with good quality mattress) and furniture. Luxury white cotton bedding, soft towels, comfy robes and slippers are provided in each bedroom.

Bathrooms

All wings have a selection of showers and baths. Most have polished granite flooring.

Utility Rooms

All have a washing machine and clothes drier.

Argoed Hall is a Grade II listed mansion overlooking the river Dee and the beautiful vale of Llangollen. Each of the four wings that make up the Hall have been converted into modern houses, and can be enjoyed for a 5 star holiday, wedding or corporate event.

Many of the original features have been retained and sympathetically integrated with modern day facilities providing a luxury venue.

The grounds spread over some 3 acres are designated historical and consist of lawns, sunken gardens, massive fir and beech trees and woodland.

Argoed Hall is located just outside Llangollen in the village of Froncysyllte, and whilst enjoying a secluded position it is but minutes walk from a world heritage site and walkway networks.

Argoed Hall was commissioned to be built in 1840 by a local aristocrat. Situated in an elevated position overlooking the river Dee, the building was sited to take advantage of the south facing views down the valley to Dinas Castle. Argoed Hall sits within some 3 acres of grounds, which are designated historical, and consist of large lawns, a sunken garden, massive fir and each trees and woodlands.
Llangollen is a truly amazing town, encapsulating the best North Wales has to offer in a small area. With more sun than Cornwall and less rain than the Lake District.
