Church house is in the lovely village of Bayton, on the Worcestershire/ Shropshire border, opposite the Norman church at the end of a quiet lane.
The self catering accommodation is set within the stone wing of the 16th century timber framed house which is south facing in 30 acres of pasture and woodland. The stunning views look out on to some of the glorious countryside of Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire. The setting is peaceful and the perfect place to relax.
The location of Bayton is an ideal base to explore the nearby market towns of Ludlow, Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Bewdley and Bridgnorth. The historic cities of Worcester, Hereford and Shrewsbury, are less than an hours drive away and there are numerous churches, country houses and gardens to visit among the rolling hills and valleys.
The black and white villages of Herefordshire and Worcestershire are some of the most picturesque this country has to offer and the unspoilt rural beauty of Shropshire and the Welsh Marches is unsurpassed. It is also an ideal opportunity to drive onto the Cotswolds or explore the breathtaking welsh mountains.
The nearest pub is one mile away in Mamble and provides wonderful food and real ales, the perfect excuse for a delightful quiet 20 minute stroll. (closed on Mondays). 1½ miles away are a thriving grocers and butchers shop. Cleobury Mortimer is a charming rural town 2½ miles away and boasts a choice of over 7 pubs and restaurants. There is also an award winning brewery, shops, leisure centre and 18 hole golf course.
At Church House we are passionate about cycling and we offer guided cycle tours of this perfect touring countryside. We have lock up facilities for cycles and power washer equipment. Cycling and walking are a must in this area and we provide extensive literature of cycle and walking routes.
For horse lovers we have quiet lanes to hack down, well away from main roads, and stables and grazing on the premises. The Wyre Forest is nearby, as are the Clee Hills and the Mortimer Forest. There are many bridleways including the superb long distance Jack Mytton Way, which starts in Cleobury Mortimer and also makes an unforgettable mountain bike ride.

This unique and spacious holiday flat sleeps 2/3 and has a large open plan kitchen /dining and living area with beamed walls and ceiling. The oil fired stove in the inglenook fireplace gives a warm and inviting feel to this lovely and relaxing room.
The large bedroom with en-suite bathroom are
situated in the gorgeous Georgian brick room with sash windows and ornate
plaster cornices and ceiling rose.
For anyone one wishing to bring a friend or extra family member there is ample
room in the living room for a single bed.
The garden and terrace area provide the perfect setting to enjoy the glorious views and maybe a barbeque and a glass of wine!
Washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, T V and DVD player are provided and a fully equipped kitchen.
This inviting accommodation has a large fully equipped kitchen/sitting room with lovely views over the open countryside of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
The pretty bedroom looks out over the village church, and the Shropshire hills can be seen beyond.
A single bed or cot can be provided although the let is not suitable for very small children or pets.
There is a small and private courtyard garden in which to sit and enjoy this tranquil setting
