The Saddlery is a self-catering apartment in a quiet rural position on our working farm in the lovely village of Willoughby, near Rugby. Close to major road networks on the Warwickshire / Northamponshire borders. We are within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, The Cotswolds, Althorpe and Silverstone, making The Saddlery an ideal central base within the Heart of England for business or pleasure for your self-catering (holiday let) holiday.
The country setting means we are also close to the canal and the main historic junction of the Grand Union and Oxford Canals is just 2 miles away at Braunston Marina.
Fishing, golf and horse riding are also available locally along with abundant countryside walks.
The accommodation sleeps 4 –6.
The whole property is complemented by a pleasant courtyard/garden setting, with hay mangers and original troughs.
Patio furniture and barbecue equipment are provided.
At this traditional 18th century converted saddlery. Originally used as the “tack rooms” for the working horses on our farm, it now provides luxurious accommodation for the discerning guest.Nestled peacefully within a “courtyard” setting, surrounded by our own open fields and beautiful countryside, the Saddlery is a perfect place for a relaxing break. Our Georgian Manor House, together with the village church provide the focal points to the property and are within close proximity.
We are a working farm with cattle and sheep surrounded by 300 acres of our own grassland.
Sheep with lambs (during springtime) and our cows and calves can be seen through the year.
The village of Willoughby has many assets and facilities and is totally unspoilt. It boasts a quaint duck pond, real ale pub - which also serves food, children’s play area and hairdressing salon.
The nearest shops for provisions are just two miles away.
There are many local walks for keen ramblers or for people just wanting to enjoy the Warwickshire countryside.
