Long Ground Barn has been furnished with a mix of new and antique furniture. All soft furnishings are co-ordinated with the overall effect of luxury and comfort.
The open plan kitchen/diner comprises a modern kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier, microwave and fridge freezer. A table seats up to 6 people.T-towels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and dish cloths are all provided.
The sitting room has comfortable leather sofas, a wood burning stove, TV, DVD, CD player with a selection of books, magazines, games and DVDs.The kitchen and sitting room both have French windows opening onto a large south facing patio with garden furniture and a barbeque. A small stone wall encloses the garden separating it from the ample parking.
There is one twin bedroom, and two double bedrooms. All are en-suite with one bathroom specifically designed with wheelchair users in mind.The cottage has full central heating.
All linen and towels are provided.

| A nursery rhyme, 'Ride a Cock Horse', has made Banbury
one of the best-known towns in England. It has been suggested that the
'Fine Lady' of the nursery rhyme may have been Lady Godiva or Elizabeth
I. More likely it was a local girl who rode in a May Day procession. The
original cross was pulled down at the end of the 16th century. The
present cross was erected in 1859 to celebrate the wedding of the then
Princess Royal to Prince Frederick of Prussia. |

| Stow-on the-Wold stands exposed on a 700 feet high hill
at a junction of seven major roads, including the Roman Fosse Way. At the height of the Cotswold wool industry the town was famous for it's huge annual fairs where as many as 20,000 sheep were sold at one time. The vast Market Square testifies to the towns former importance. At one end stands the ancient cross, and at the other the town stocks, shaded between an old elm tree.
