Roadside Cottage is an ideal, year-round holiday home. Well-equipped and comfortably furnished with many individual touches, it is the perfect base for your holiday. It has been awarded four stars by the Wales Tourist Board.
The fully-fitted kitchen/dining room is extremely spacious and has good views of the rear garden.
In the cosy living room there is original oak flooring, a television and DVD player, radio and gas fire.
The downstairs bathroom has an over-bath electric shower and several imaginative touches.
The large entrance hall can provide safe storage for cycles, walking equipment or baby buggies. Leading from this is a small utility room with toilet, washing machine, tumble drier and freezer.
Both the single and master bedrooms have exposed beams, while the master bedroom also has stripped pine flooring to add to its charm.
The garden to the side of the cottage has a large lawn, ideal for children. At the rear of the property, the pretty, enclosed garden is a perfect place to relax.

Roadside Cottage is located in the pretty village of St Brides Major, in the Vale of Glamorgan. A two minute walk brings you to a shop, post office and the Fox and Hounds pub. Slightly further on is the Farmer's Arms overlooking the village pond. Both pubs serve good food and real ales.
Walkers will relish the area, not only for the 14 mile Heritage Coast path, but also for the numerous walks from the cottage across fields and open countryside. The sandy beach at Southerndown is only 1.5 miles by foot, 2 miles by car.
There are a wealth of activities available locally - golf, horse-riding, sea fishing and surfing to name but a few! For mountain bikers, the Afan Forest Park offers a variety of fantastic trails (about 45 minutes away).
The traditional resorts of Porthcawl, Barry and Penarth are only a short drive away. Cardiff lies 20 miles to the east of Roadside Cottage, with its exciting waterfront bay development, international rugby stadium and superb shopping. To the west you can explore Swansea, the Mumbles and the Gower - an area of outstanding natural beauty.
