The Old Stables is a detached cottage offering Self Catering accommodation on our farm in the heart of the New Forest National Park.

Accommodation

Relax in this spacious Lounge/Dining room, which has French windows leading to the private patio with wonderful views across the fields to the Forest.
A Colour TV is provided.

The well-equipped Galley Kitchen has a microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge with an icebox and a table-top cooker with oven, grill and 2 hot plates.

The large bedroom has an en suite shower room, comfortable bed; (which can be a 6 foot double or twin), colour TV and clock radio. Relax in the early morning in bed and look out over the lovely uninterrupted view through the French windows.
Central heating throughout.
Sorry, no pets, no smoking.
Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity, welcome pack all provided.

Fritham Farm and Surrounding Area

Fritham farm is a working stud farm set in 51 acres of beautiful grassland where the famous Fritham ponies are produced. Wildlife is in abundance including deer in our copse, badgers, fox and rabbits in our hedgerows, curlew and buzzard in the skies above our fields.

The Farm is set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where oak and beech woods, rivers, lakes and plantations are intermixed with heathland and Forest lawns.

Fritham is a tiny village in the heart of the New Forest National Park. The local pub is just ½ mile away and is unspoiled. Here you can buy good food in the middle of the day and more substantial meals can be found 5 minutes drive away at other excellent pubs and restaurants.
From Fritham you can explore the real Forest on foot, bicycle, horseback, while all the attractions of the area are within easy reach.
Salisbury, Winchester, Bournemouth and Portsmouth are just 30 minutes by car.

How to get here

Located just 4 miles from Exit 1 of M27.

From London, the North and East; take M3 to Southampton and M27 towards Bournemouth and the West. Leave M27 at Exit 1 and follow signs to Fritham. Turn tight at sign Fritham & Eyeworth only,
Fritham Farm is 300 meters on the right.

From the South-West; take A31 towards Southampton and turn left at the Stoney Cross junction signed Fritham. After 1 ½ miles turn left at sign Fritham & Eyeworth only.
Fritham Farm is 300 meters on the right.

From the West; from Salisbury take A36 Southampton road. After 9 miles turn right to Landford and Bramshaw (B3079). Turn right at first crossroads (1 mile) signed Nomansland, straight over next crossroads (1 ¾ miles). Join road coming in from your left and after 300 meters turn right at sign Fritham & Eyeworth only.
Fritham Farm is 300 meters on the right.
