The Old Stables Holiday Cottages, Devon - These superb self catering cottages are situated around a cobbled courtyard and have been converted from stables dating back to the pre 1800's. These Devon Holiday Cottages still retain many of their original features and charms, but also now provide all the comforts expected from quality holiday home accommodation.

For the children (and young at heart) there is a play area with a selection of swings, a slide and a trampoline as well as other activities. There are also some pygmy goats who welcome attention, especially if food is to hand!
For sunny days and warm summer evenings there is also a barbecue area (gas barbecue provided) and picnic tables.
Alternatively you may wish to stroll along the stream which runs through eighty acres of farmland adjoining the cottages.
For nature lovers it is possible to see foxes, badgers and deer, whereas for bird watchers there are egrets, kingfishers, buzzards and other river fowl and birds of prey.

Most of the cottages display the original exposed beams in the upstairs open plan lounges, with kitchens adjoining. The kitchens are fully fitted with microwaves, fridge/freezers, washer/dryers, electric ovens and gas hobs.

The bedrooms are situated on the ground floor along with the bathroom which has a shower over the bath.

One, two bedroom cottage, which has its own enclosed garden, has its lounge downstairs and bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. This cottage also has a downstairs toilet.

The holiday cottages all have double glazing and are equipped with TVs, videos, irons, hairdryers and central heating throughout.

All gas and electric, linen, duvets and towels are included.

The Old Stables Holiday Cottages provide everything you will need for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

The land surrounding the cottages is privately owned and has no public access other than for residents.
