The Gathering offers large self catering holiday accommodation on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park in South Devon.

The Gathering is a big holiday let suitable for upto fourteen people (plus two cots). The Gathering is a big self catering house within Devon on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The Gathering is located in the heart of the ancient stanary town of Ashburton on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, often referred to as the "gateway to the moors", is less than five minutes from the Devon Expressway (A38). Ashburton is renowned for its antique shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and is situated within the Dartmoor National Park with the moors on your door step and within half an hour of some of the most beautiful coastal areas in Britain. The property is located just off the town centre and is a terraced Georgian, Grade II listed town house which was previously a small hotel. The Gathering has been transformed and offers large self catering accommodation with all the modern facilities you would expect.

Ground Floor: Hall. Living-room with stereo (CD). Television-room with TV, video. Kitchen with gas-fired double range, microwave, 2 fridge/freezers and dishwasher.

Dining-room: (seats 14). Utility-room with automatic washing machine and tumble-drier. Cloakroom with WC and wash-basin.

First Floor: Sitting-room with TV, digital satellite (full Sky Package, including sport & movie channels) TV DVD player, video. Bedroom 1 with 3 single beds (3'), and en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom 2 with super king size bed (6') and en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom 3 with single bed, en suite Shower-room with shower, WC and wash-basin.

General directions:

The Gathering is situated to the west of the "A38 Devon Expressway" at Ashburton, which is half way between Exeter and Plymouth, on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, approximately 15 - 20 minutes south of Exeter Motorway Services on the M5 at Sowton.

Follow the M5 until it changes into the A38 Devon Expressway (dual carriage) and follow the signs for Plymouth. Watch out for the split in the road at Kennford (just south of Exeter), take the right-hand branch going up the steep hill (Haldon Hill)!
Take the first turning for Ashburton off the A38 Devon Expressway (Linhay).
Follow signs to town centre. You will see a large statue of a Golden Lion over a house door on your left.
Turn immediately left there into Golden Lion Court.
Turn left again and you will see a six foot double iron gate.
Just open them and park in the car park.
Come up the stone steps and we are there!
