Set in north Norfolk and situated on a working farm, Tatt Valley self-catering Holiday Cottages comprises a set of farm barns tastefully converted to a high standard. Walking, cycling, bird watching or touring, Tatt Valley is ideal as a holiday cottage base to explore the beautiful north Norfolk countryside, visit historic houses and explore the beaches.

Each of the five holiday cottages has retained its own unique character while offering attractive and comfortable accommodation. Kitchens and bathrooms are well planned and equipped, and all rooms are furnished with style. Bed linen, duvets and towels are provided, as is a welcome pack. All holiday cottages are rated three- or four-star by the English Tourism Council.

Each holiday cottage has its own walled garden with barbeque and garden furniture, while the five holiday cottages together share a children’s play area and a large games barn housing snooker, pool, table football and other amenities and visitors are also welcome to explore the owner’s private track and water meadows around the holiday cottages. There is also shared use of a tumble drier and drying area. Each property has parking space for two cars.

Holiday cottages are bookable from Saturday to Saturday throughout the year. The rental prices include electricity and heating, high chairs and cots are available on request, and one dog is welcome per property.

Within easy reach of Norwich, Fakenham, King's Lynn and north Norfolk coastal towns such as Hunstanton, Brancaster and the delightful village of Burnham Market.

The small hamlet of Tattersett lies in one of the loveliest parts of Norfolk, offering the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the peace of this unspoilt corner of East Anglia. It is also home to Tatt Valley Holiday Cottages: five traditional brick and flint farm barns converted with skill and sensitivity to provide accommodation of the highest standard.

A garage and shop in Tattersett cater for everyday needs and there is a pub serving food just two miles away. Seven miles to the north is Burnham Market, a delightful village with an attractive green and high street, two renowned restaurants and some excellent and fashionable shops. The traditional market town of Fakenham (5 miles) has a wide range of shops as well as ten-pin bowling and a cinema.

Arabella
Formerly the stables for the farm’s working horses, Arabella is named after one of the horses that was stabled there. This cottage retains its traditional charm and features combined with all the comforts of modern living. It has a private walled patio and all benefit from the facilities of the superb large games barn across the courtyard and the opportunity to wander the owner’s private track and water meadow or enjoy the peaceful rolling local countryside.

The Old Forge
As its name implies The Old Forge housed the farm's blacksmith until the 1930s. It remained a workshop until 1994. This cottage retains its traditional charm and features combined with all the comforts of modern living. Each cottage has a private walled patio and all benefit from the facilities of the superb large games barn across the courtyard and the opportunity to wander the owner’s private track and water meadow or enjoy the peaceful rolling local countryside.

Field View
This lovely cottage has splendid views over open fields and the courtyard and a pretty galleried bedroom over the sitting room. The quality of the conversion and furnishings make it hard to believe this was a former home for piglets!

The Mangers
Until just a few years ago The Mangers provided shelter and a feeding place for the cattle. Now, this is a cosy property overlooking its own private patio garden and the shared courtyard and fountain. With its wide doorways and ramped access it is particularly suitable for wheelchair users.

This 200-year-old single-storey barn conversion was previously the stable, tack room and cart store. Today it still retains many of its original features, with its own small walled patio garden, forming part of the old farm courtyard.
