Ninfield Holiday Cottages - Our cosy self catering cottage is situated on a working farm in the beautiful Sussex countryside and is fully equipped for your comfort and relaxation; while providing a perfect base for exploring the South Downs, Weald and surrounding areas, which are full of interesting places for all tastes.  Only a short drive will get you to the South Coast resorts of Hastings, Eastbourne and Bexhill or Battle with its’ mainline station to London.

Our bright and homely cottage is centrally heated and is ideal for couples or families. All towels and linen (except cot bedding) are provided during your stay with us. The cottage has its own lawn area and garden furniture within a secure perimeter fence and has a large car park.

Peacefully located off a private drive in the heart of 1066 Country, with far reaching views to the South Downs and the coast, the Ninfield Holiday Cottages are situated in the grounds of a 350 acre working farm which primarily produces prime beef, with a small amount of corn.

It is also the home of Rhos Stud which breeds top class British Riding Ponies including the 2008 Horse of the Year Show’s Champion Show Pony of the Year.

The farm has 3.5 acres of fishing lakes well stocked with a variety of coarse fish, and approximately 10 acres of woodland where bluebells and primroses bloom profusely in the spring.

A good range of restaurants, farm shops and pubs serving food are nearby. A Post Office, shop, petrol station and Mini Mart are located within 1 mile.

Historic Battle, which also has a mainline railway station direct to London, is a 10 min. drive away, as is the beach at Bexhill, and the seaside resorts of Eastbourne and Hastings with their shopping, theatre and leisure facilities are a 20 min. drive. The quaint town of Rye and the picturesque village of Alfriston are also well worth visiting.

Local attractions are many and varied; including historical sites, adventure playgrounds, bird watching, National Trust properties, gardens, gift shops, golf, horse riding, indoor heated swimming pools, walking, cycling, sailing, wind surfing, hang gliding, quad biking, paint balling, vineyards, zoo parks and theatres.
