Surrey Cottages is a privately owned family business offering luxurious accommodation for holidays, family reunions, entertaining and corporate lettings.

Farm Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom converted ground floor flat. Occupying the whole ground floor of a large detached Victorian house. It is situated in the heart of Bookham, just a 5-minute walk from the High Street and shops where you can find a thriving village with plenty of local pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.
The Cottage is fully furnished with good quality furniture and fittings and Gas central heating throughout.

The Myrtles is a 3 bedroom Victorian cottage situated in residential road in the heart of Bookham. Just a 5 minute walk to the High Street with its shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. The cottage is very cosy with gas central heating and a gas fire in the living room. Good quality fittings throughout provide a “home from home” feel. The garden and patio complete with garden furniture and BBQ provide a quiet place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The accommodation sleeps 4/5

On the ground floor there is a family bathroom with bath, shower and wc. The cottage is fitted with carpets throughout except for Kitchen and Bathroom

There is off road parking for one car and ample additional parking nearby. We offer the option of an extra single bed, cot and baby equipment at no extra cost.

Children are very welcome however we are unable to take pets. The cottage is Non Smoking for our guests comfort.

Great Bookham is a perfect location to enjoy walks at the many local National Trust Properties such as Polesden Lacey, Clandon Park, Claremont Landscape Gardens and Hatchlands Park. Hampton Court is 15mins by car and both Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park are nearby. Golf courses are in abundance; Effingham, The Drift, Dorking, Leatherhead, Wisley to name but a few.

Great Bookham is just 5minutes from J9 M25. The A24 and A3 also offer very good links to the South and central London. It is an ideal location to explore the South East. Brighton on the South Coast is an hour by car. A 40-minute train journey takes you to central London with trains direct to Victoria/Waterloo and London Bridge. 

Conveniently located within easy reach of London Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

Surrey has many villages to explore such as, Haslemere, Abinger Hammer, Ripley, Dorking, Horsley and Farnham with excellent country pubs, restaurants, theatres and Antique shops. Guildford is 20 minutes with its post war cathedral

For children: Horton Park Children’s Farm, Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead leisure centre with crazy tots, gym fun and swimming. The Spectrum swim/Bowl/skate at Guildford, Horse riding/cycling on the South Downs and a flying club at Fairoaks are also available nearby.
