St James Court is privately owned & run on site. Set in an attractive village, on a quiet country lane, opposite an 11th century church, these 3 properties form part of an impressive complex, set around a smart courtyard. Beautifully presented throughout, well equipped and maintained they provide a most comfortable and tastefully furnished base from which to explore Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset.

The beautiful city of Bath is easily reached together with Salisbury, Shaftesbury and Wells. Among the many local places of interest are Longleat, Stourhead House and Gardens (NT), Stonehenge and the famous White Horse at Westbury. The town of Warminster is 4 miles away and shop and pubs 1 1/2 miles.

All cottages have electric cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridges, microwave, TV, Video and CD player. TV. in double bedroom. Cot and high chair available. Communal courtyard and furniture. Ample parking.

Services: Electric heating. All fuel, power, bed linen (duvets) and towels included. No pets. No smoking within the cottages.

Tytherington is located on the edge of some of Wiltshire's most picturesque Downland making it ideal base for walkers and riders alike. There is a network of bridleways immediately accessible and we have a newly converted American barn containing 11 loose boxes, storage and tack room. Grazing is available dependent on weather & occupancy.

Barley Cottage (sleeps 6)

First floor:
4 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite, 1 twin, 2 single. Bathroom with shower over bath, w.c. and basin.

Wheat Cottage (sleeps 5)

Ground floor:
Lounge, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with shower over bath, w.c. and basin.

First floor:
3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single, bathroom with w.c. and basin (can be en-suite)

Oat Cottage (sleeps 6)

Ground floor:
Lounge, kitchen/dining room, separate cloakroom with w.c. and basin.

First floor:
3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 twins, bathroom with shower over bath, w.c. and basin

Directions to St. James Court from A303 westward

Leave A303 at Stonehenge onto A344 to Devizes. On leaving the village of Shrewton take first left to Warminster (B390). Follow this road passing through Chitterne until you reach T-junction. Turn right onto A36 to Warminster. Take first turning left (approx. 1/2 mile) to Heytesbury. Follow road through Heytesbury, past The Angel and turn left just before the church, to Tytherington. At T-junction in Tytherington with the church on your left, St. James Court is on your right. Parking is on the right hand side and our house is behind the cottages.

Directions from A303 eastward

Leave A303 at signs for Warminster (next exit after Mere). Follow road to Longbridge Deverill. Turn right just after garage, opposite The George public house. Follow road to T junction, turn right to Sutton Veny. Drive through village and on to Tytherington. At church turn left and immediately left again into St. James Court. Parking is on the right hand side and our house is behind the cottages.

Directions from M4

Leave motorway at junction 18 (Bath), follow for Bath. At bottom of hill follow directions for Warminster (A36). On reaching Warminster continue round bypass (A36 Salisbury). On 4th roundabout take 4th exit to Heytesbury. In village turn right at the church for Tytherington. Follow road into village at T junction church on the left, St. James Court is on your right. Parking is on the right hand side and our house is behind the cottages.

From Bristol Airport

Follow signs to Bath and then to Warminster and follow as above.
