Croft Holiday cottages provide self catering holiday accommodation in Watchet.  We have 8 high quality holiday cottages in the heart of the ancient harbour town of Watchet on the Somerset coast.  Our holiday cottage complex is only a 2 minute walk from the centre of this charming sleepy town. 

Our luxury holiday cottages range from sleeping 2-8. 

The small town of Watchet is an ancient harbour  first recorded circa 1000AD.  Watchet is nestled between the Quantocks Area of Outstanding natural beauty and the hills and moors of Exmoor National Park.  

Watchet has award wining food and drink.  The Somerset CAMRA pub award for Real Ale in Somerset is only 5 minutes walk from our watchet cottages

Our 3 Linhay holiday cottages are 4 star quality.  Converted from old Linhay barns these Warchet holiday cottages retain many of the original features such as high vaulted ceilings in the main living space.  To the rear, each has a private courtyard to relax in. Linhays cottages have three  bedrooms for 6 people.

The two Bungalow cottages are 4 star, one bedroom cottages. These self catering cottages sleep up to 4 people.   At the rear of each cottage there is a private garden to relax in. 

The 4 star Corner cottage sleeps up to 8 people.  Corner cottage also has a private garden to the rear of the property.  A comfortable lounge opens onto the private garden and patio.

The oak fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, dining area and vaulted ceiling with velux windows.

The Howe is a five star self-catering cottage-bungalow close to the heart of Watchet.  A spacious cottage with a fresh and contemporary style.

The Barn holiday cottage is 5 star luxury accommodation that sleeps up to 6 people.  Luxuriously and beautifully decorated throughout The Barn is the ideal property for the perfect luxury  self catering holiday in Watchet, Somerset. 

Watchet is an ancient sea port nestled between the Quantock hills Area of outstanding Natural beauty and Exmoor National Park.  Watchet is a charming town steeped in heritage from the early Viking invaders to it's more recent past as a key harbour town for trade in the Bristol channel.

Watchet habour is now a converted marina offering all the latest facilities.   

Watchet town has award winning dining and shopping in it's small high street.  The nearby Helwell bay is a popular spot for fossil hunting. 

Watchet is ideally placed for a base to explore the beauty of the surrounding national parks.  There are also plenty of nearby attractions to amuse and entertain all ages whatever the weather.

The West Somerset steam railway is the ideal way to explore the surrounding area.Watchet steam railway station is only a three minute walk from Croft Holiday Cottages. So you can leave the car at home and discover the delights of West Somerset via charming steam trains

Exmoor National park is 267 square miles of open moor land, vivid with purple heather in summer. An ancient landscape with wooded oak valleys, arable farmland with historic beech hedges and dramatic coastline. Hundreds of miles of track, bridleway and country roads make Exmoor a hikers, cyclists and horse riders paradise. You will enjoy sweeping views across the rolling hills of Somerset and Devon
