Mews Flat - No. 6 Friars Garden is a spacious, two bedroom mews flat situated in the conservation area of Ludlow, Shropshire only five minutes walk from the market square and the castle, and less than ten minutes to the station and the furthest of our Michelin starred restaurants. In spite of this it is in a peaceful, secluded location away from the main roads with views to open countryside. There are riverside walks within walking distance and the many designated walks in Mortimer Forest are a few minutes drive away.
The flat offers comfortable and well appointed self-catering holiday accommodation in the centre of Ludlow. Equipped to a high standard it sleeps four people in two generous bedrooms and has all conveniences including its own parking space. It is ideally suited for visiting Ludlow and exploring the surrounding area. We have our own parking area outside the flat.
The four star centrally heated accommodation, accessed by a short, well lit staircase, is furnished to a high standard and comprises an L shaped entrance hall leading to two good sized bedrooms, one double room and one twin room. There is a pretty bathroom with a full sized bath and shower over, wash basin set in a vanity unit and toilet. The large rectangular living room with a TV/DVD/VCR has the dining area at one end where an archway leads to the fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven with gas hob and extractor, a large fridge/freezer, a microwave and a washer/dryer. In addition the flat has plenty of storage, hanging space and towel rails.
There is ample parking and The Mews Flat has its own parking area.
Gas and electricity are included in the price along with bed linen ( duvets ), towels and kitchen towels. A welcome pack is provided, also household items such as washing up liquid, loo rolls, cling film etc. We will be as flexible as possible for start day of lettings which will run from 3 pm on the day of arrival to 10.30 am on the day of departure. Short breaks are available throughout the year but must be for a minimum of three nights.
Over the last few years Ludlow has gained an enviable reputation for the quality of its food and drink, matching that of its character and beauty. There are many wonderful places to eat, catering for all tastes and budgets, together with many shops and suppliers who sell excellent local produce.
