Goosefoot Barn is nestled in a secluded valley in beautiful Corvedale. With attractive views down the valley and the imposing Clee Hill on the horizon there is nothing to disturb the peace and tranquillity.
A holiday at Goosefoot Barn Cottages will ideally suit anyone with the need or desire to get away from it all.
We have four delightful cottages to rent which have been converted from stone and timber barns and furnished and decorated to the highest standards. Each cottage has its own character and there is a selection of books, DVD's and videos for those occasional overcast days.
Dogs are welcome and there are some great walks, through stunning scenery, without the need to use the car.
We also have a fully equipped games room with darts, full size snooker table and tourist information area.
There are four cottages - Pinstones, Diddlebury, Corfton and Munslow, which together with our family home comprise the three sides of a courtyard.
Converted in 2000 from stone and timber barns, all have been furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Each cottage has its own character and is equipped with a colour TV, DVD and CD players. ALL COTTAGES NOW HAVE FREESAT, so we no longer have to put up with fuzzy TV reception !
We have a No Smoking policy in all the cottages. Dogs are welcome in all but Corfton Cottage. All have full central heating.
South Shropshire is an ideal location for anyone wanting a few unhurried days walking, cycling, sightseeing or simply relaxing and enjoying the spectacular scenery.
Goosefoot Barn Cottages are within easy reach of the Long Mynd, Wenlock Edge, Clee Hill, Mortimer Forest and the Welsh Border Hills. As well as Housman, Shropshire's other literary notables include Brother Cadfael, Malcolm Saville and Mary Webb. The small market towns of Ludlow, Church Stretton, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle have much to offer historically and architecturally.
