In a secluded setting surrounded by open countryside with panoramic views over Rutland Water this wing of owner's bungalow has been refurbished to a very high standard. It has its own garden and south facing patio.

This recently built 3 bed roomed house is situated on a new residential development on the outskirts of Oakham. It has been furnished to a high standard and has its own private walled garden.

Thistledown - Oakham

This recently built 3 bed roomed house with adjoining garage is situated on a new residential development on the outskirts of Oakham. It has been furnished to a high standard and has its own private walled garden.

Lounge with gas fire and sofa bed (+2) - Fully fitted kitchen/diner - 2 single bedrooms with wardrobe/units - Large double bedroom with king size bed and fitted wardrobe - Bathroom with shower over the bath - Fitted carpets throughout - Gas central heating.

Hambleton village is situated on a peninsular stretching into Rutland Water. Hambleton Hall hotel/restaurant and the 'Finches Arms' Inn are within walking distance.

Oakham The Historic County Town of Rutland is nearby where there are many shops to browse around and places of interest to visit i.e. The Buttercross Oakham Mediaeval Castle with its collection of horseshoes and the County Museum to name but a few. Nearby are the gardens created by the late Geoffrey Hamilton.

This is the Heart of Rural England. Walkers and naturalists will find this area a delight. Rutland Water is a haven for many varieties of birds including ospreys at the Nature Reserves in Egleton (2 miles) and Lyndon (5 miles). The Water also offers sailing and windsurfing; excellent trout fishing can be enjoyed both here and at Eyebrook Reservoir (9 miles). Bicycles can be hired - a cycle track surrounds The Water including Hambleton peninsular (the track being only a short distance from this property). Horse riding is available locally. There are several golf courses in the area an excellent one being Greetham Valley which has an 18 hole Championship course plus 9 hole course and Driving Range.

This area is central to Peterborough Nottingham and Leicester - Oakham has a main line railway station and both Stamford and Melton Mowbray are within easy reach. The following historical properties can be visited whilst staying in this area: Burghley House Belton House Belvoir Castle Grimsthorpe Castle Kirby Hall Lyddington Bede House Rockingham Castle and Fotheringhay.
