Quayside Cottage offers stylish accommodation for two: a sitting room in which to relax with a variety of books, music system, TV and video recorder; conservatory overlooking the garden and river beyond makes for perfect dining; modern fitted and well-equipped kitchen, with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge; double bedroom with en-suite shower room, plus separate W.C.

Parking is within the private driveway. Bicycle store is attached to the rear of your cottage.

The cost of your holiday is inclusive of electricity, bedding, towels, and welcome pack which includes fresh supplies of tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

We want your arrival to be a welcome homecoming, and so soft lighting will be on and heating too (if necessary). Fresh flowers and welcome gift, plus a few other little touches that we hope you’ll appreciate.

Your bed will be made and towels hung. And where groceries have been ordered, all will be stocked in your kitchen. All we wish you to do is unpack your clothes, display favourite toiletries, and start your holiday.

Set on the banks of the beautiful River Deben, this special setting deserves accommodation to match, and so we have worked to establish an environment in which the discerning can enjoy quality comfort and the creative can be inspired.

This peaceful coastal village is home to the highly reputed Waldringfield Sailing Club and the famous ‘Maybush Inn’, just a gentle stroll from your cottage (please ask if you would like us to reserve a table for the weekend of your arrival—the Maybush has a very popular menu and so pre-booking is advised).

Heading out of the village is Waldringfield Golf Club (open to non-members); and cycle hire from Low Farm as an enjoyable means to explore the many hidden beauties of this Suffolk landscape.

Just 3 miles upstream is the ancient market town of Woodbridge - famous for exquisite shops, culinary delights and colourful people. And approximately 8 miles south east is the popular seaside resort of Felixstowe.

Day-to-day shopping is catered for at Martlesham Heath (approximately 3 miles by road). For more extensive shopping and entertainment, visit historic Ipswich and take in its maze of olde English architecture and industrious shipping roots.

This famous Heritage Coast has a unique charm, bringing together a mix of seaside nostalgia with modern creativity as the summer air fills with the sound of family fun and Arts and Music festivals, including the world-famous Aldeburgh Festival during June.
