The Stable, Charlbury - Surrounded by the
beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds and nestled in the small market town of
Charlbury,
The Stable offers a well located and recently renovated retreat with a
Tourist Board 4 Star grading.
Charlbury is an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty and sits between the Country Estates of Ditchley Park, Blenheim Palace
and Cornbury Park. Almost surrounded by woodland, Charlbury makes an excellent
base
for walking. The town is also well served with public transport links including
a mainline railway station with trains to both Oxford and London, alongside a
good bus service to Oxford, Woodstock, Chipping Norton and Witney. A free
pick-up service is offered on the day of arrival and departure to Charlbury
Railway Station or bus stops, if requested in advance.
The Stable is an annex to the Cotswold Stone,
Reeves Barn. It has its own entrance and parking space.
The accommodation is set over two floors. The downstairs has a comfy sofa and
armchair, leading through
to a dining table and well-equipped kitchen, with a microwave, cooker and
washer/dryer. The first floor
features a king-sized bed, walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a
‘mira’ shower over the bath.
Bookings from March to November inclusive. Arrival time: commencing from 3.30pm Friday to 10.00am the following Friday. Prices: £380 - £420 max. The Stable does not have facilities to accommodate pets. It is a Non-smoking establishment. Bed-linen, towels, electricity and heating included in the price.
