Woodview holiday cottages in Nottingham, offers two idyllic stone cottages that nestle in the centre of a working arable farm surrounded by beautiful gardens and stunning views of the farm's own patchwork of fields and woodlands.
Each single storey building has been skilfully converted from a traditional barn into a characteristic cosy country holiday cottage complete with log burning fires and oak beams.
Original features of the barns have been subtly blended with modern luxury to achieve an ambience that is both comfortable and inviting. There is ample car parking next to the holiday cottages and the nearest shop is only three miles.
The accommodation is
immaculate throughout and kept to very a high standard by the owners. Each self
catering cottage comprises a living/dining-room with wood-burning stove, exposed
beam trusses and modern fitted kitchen area. There are two bedrooms with exposed
stone work; one double and one twin accommodating up to 4 people. Bathroom/W.C.
with shower cubicle.
Owthorpe itself lies on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir, a verdant landscape offering all manner of outdoor activities, and serving as a great base for visiting the attractions in the neighbouring three counties.

Our self catering holiday cottage accommodation comprises: The main entrance porch leads to an open plan cosy lounge which is warm, comfortable and tastefully furnished. TV and video recorder are provided in the living room area and in addition to the log burning fire the whole cottage is fully centrally heated. Logs for the fire are all included in the price. The kitchen/dining area in both cottages are fully equipped with all the necessary modern conveniences including a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooker and washing machine. Other essentials such as crockery, cutlery and cleaning materials are also provided together with basic necessities eg milk, tea, coffee, suger, bread, butter, cheese. * high chair available Each cottage has 1 double room with a kingsize bed and 1 twin room with 2 single beds, both with wardrobe and dressing table. We can accommodate up to 4 guests in total plus a cot for a baby. Rich carpeting and tasteful soft furnishings complete this beautiful homely picture. Both the cottages have spacious, immaculate bathrooms complete with a bath (choice of a corner bath or traditional style) and separate large shower unit, basin and wc.
