Glebe farm cottages are five, newly converted Victorian, barns on a 110 acre working arable, beef and lavender farm.
The farm is in a secluded setting in the picturesque river Trent valley and are set around a central courtyard with private gardens. Glebe farm is an ideal base for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful Nottinghamshire country side, either by foot, horse or by car.
Visit close by Sherwood forest(30minutes),the ancient market towns of Newark(30minutes) and Southwell (10minutes) or spend some time enjoying shopping or the sporting facilities in nearby Nottingham city(15minutes).
The cottages have been recently converted in 2003. There are five cottages to choose from, either one, two or three bed roomed.
Four of the cottages have ground floor bedrooms and shower rooms whilst the fifth has first floor bedrooms and bathroom.
Each one has been tastefully decorated and furnished. All are equipped to an extremely high standard with under floor central heating, modern well equipped kitchen spacious lounge diner and own garden.
Each of the five cottages are equipped to a high standard. Under floor heating, modern kitchens with cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with ice box and a full range of cooking equipment, crockery and glassware. There is a modern TV, and DVD player in each lounge.
The Swallows Rest. Sleeps 2.All ground floor accommodation, spacious twin bed room, large walk in shower room. Oak open plan kitchen, Comfortable /lounge diner with TV/ CD player, access to courtyard garden. Interconnecting door to The Hayloft, for larger groups
Hayloft. Sleeps 4.All ground floor accommodation. Double bedroom with access to courtyard garden, Bunk room with roof window (top bunk can be removed if an adult requires). Walk in shower room, modern ,fully equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge diner with French doors to private garden and patio area. Picnic table and barbeque.
The Granary. Sleeps 5.Three first floor bedrooms, One double, one twin/bunk bed and one single bedroom. Modern bathroom heated towel rail. Comfortable lounge/diner and open plan oak fitted kitchen. TV/ CD player Private garden. Picnic table and chairs
The Barn Sleeps 6.Ground floor twin and single bedrooms. Ground floor walk in shower room. Oak kitchen/diner/ lounge with open vaulted ceiling with oak king truss and play landing. Picture windows and French doors to private garden and patio area. Large double/family bedroom off landing with roof windows.
Tackroom. Sleeps 4.Ground floor double bedroom, walk in shower room. Oak kitchen, lounge diner. Open vaulted ceiling with oak king truss and with play landing. Picture windows and French doors to private garden and patio area, picnic table and barbeque. First floor twin bedroom with roof windows.
