Our four traditional stone self-catering cottages are part of a working farm set in acres of stunning countryside and conveniently situated only 15 minutes from the M1, Northampton, half a mile from Althorp House and close to the pretty villages of East Haddon and Great Brington. They are available all year round and are perfect for self-catering holidays and short or a long term lets to meet your requirements.
East Haddon Grange offers a rare blend of relaxation and escape. It’s a stones throw from East Haddon and other charming villages with thatched cottages and traditional pubs serving delicious home-cooked food, and surrounded by a wealth of activities to entertain families, children and serious sporting enthusiasts alike. These include the market towns of Northampton, Rugby and Daventry, historic houses and gardens like Althorp, Castle Ashby and Holdenby House (where Elizabeth I was a frequent visitor), racing at Silverstone and Towcester, and more leisurely pursuits on the golf course, in beautiful country parks and through rural market towns.
The four self-catering cottages at East Haddon Grange were skilfully converted in 1998 from an 18th Century grain barn and each one retains characteristic features of the original building, including traditional Northamptonshire stonework and solid oak beams.
The holiday cottage interiors are defined by a simple, sleek décor that’s both comfortable and welcoming. Each cottage is comprehensively equipped, with fully-fitted kitchen for you to rustle up everything from full English breakfasts through to Sunday roasts. There is a traditional gas-fired stove in the lounge for cosy winter months, plus all the pretty bedrooms have large cupboards with plenty of space to store your belongings out of the way.
All of the holiday cottages have been awarded four stars from the English Tourism Council and are frequently inspected by independent judges to ensure the furnishings, décor and facilities maintain high standards.
