North Hill Cottages lie on the outskirts of Barnstaple, North Devon. After following the mile long drive which meanders its way upwards through a beautiful wooded valley teeming with wildlife, - deer, foxes, badgers, buzzards, herons and wood peckers to name but a few, you will experience the peace and tranquility that North Hill offers.

17th Century Farm buildings have been sympathetically converted into cottages with exposed beams, wood stoves and central heating. Set in 9 acres of pastures and gardens with a play area for children including Sammy Joe's cottage and a tractor.

Facilities include: Indoor heated swimming pool with toddlers pool, sauna, all weather tennis court, fitness room and games room.

With all the properties featured within our online brochure we can personally assure you of the highest standards of accommodation. North Hill offers cottages sleeping from 2 - 6 persons plus cot. Dogs are welcome.

The area of North Devon also has it all. The magnificent National Park of Exmoor provides thousands of acres of moorland teeming with wildlife and steeped in history. The coastline offers some of the finest beaches in the country with golden sands stretching for mile after mile, or why not explore the many leafy lanes and meandering rivers scything through majestic countryside

All the cottages have exposed beams full of characteristic charm and individuality, some retaining many original features.

All are furnished to a very high standard with fitted carpets, pine furniture, matching linen and curtains, full size cookers, fridge freezers, microwaves, colour televisions and video recorders. Every cottage has its own wood burner as well as central heating

Holly Cottage
Originally the mill building, Holly is a very pleasant building for four and ideal for the young family. Open plan living/dining room with fitted kitchen. Double bedroom, children's bunk room with pine bunk beds and bathroom/W.C. with over bath shower. Holly is situated opposite the pool

Ivy Cottage
Cosy cottage for two or a new family. Living/dining room with fitted kitchen area. Double room with a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower. Unrivaled views from the living room overlooking the valley down to the Taw estuary in Barnstaple. Ivy is situated within a few steps of the swimming pool

Willow Cottage

An ideal cottage for that first or second honeymoon. It is south facing with a large open plan living/dining room with a fitted pine kitchen and four poster bed set into an alcove. Bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower

Harvest Cottage
