The holiday cottages are located in the beautiful open countryside of the
Norfolk Broads opposite the woods of Calthorpe Fen home to a large herd of Red
Deer, often to be seen grazing in the vicinity of the holiday cottages.
Holly Farm self catering holiday cottages are very centrally located for many attractions of the local area and is close to the nearby "Picture post card" village of Hickling with its renowned nature reserve at Hickling Broad. The nature reserve is very popular with Birdwatchers and Naturalists alike who visit throughout the year.
The small Norfolk Broads town of Stalham and its shopping facilities is within a couple of miles and is a major centre for North Norfolk Broads boating holidays and is also of interest to fans of the book and film "Swallows and Amazons" The sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast at Sea Palling are also within a couple of miles.
Holly Farm holiday cottages can offer presently a very comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished two bedroom self contained holiday cottage converted from part of the original farm house. The cottage is on two levels, with bedrooms upstairs, fitted with double glazed windows and centrally heated. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances. The lounge is comfortably furnished with TV.
Additionally we can offer for rental the newly finished studio en-suite apartment which sleeps two persons. The apartment which is on the ground floor comprises of a Double en suite with shower, WC and hand basin. A well equipped kitchen area incorporated into a comfortable lounge area equipped with digital TV Ample off road parking is available.
The second phase of development will add a further four, one and two bedroom holiday cottages, each sleeping between four and six persons. Each holiday cottage will be self contained and equipped to the same exacting high standards providing luxury self catering holiday cottage accommodation to the discerning visitor, family and friends.
