Hall Farm Cottages, Our spacious Norfolk Broads Cottages are situated between the villages of Horning and Ludham, an ideal base for your holidays and exploring the North Norfolk Coast. Our aim is to provide you with luxury accommodation at affordable prices in the heart of the broads. These holiday cottages provide disabled access, with dog friendly accommodation available upon request. There are also options if you are on holiday with the children, of any age. If you have a specific requirement please tell us, if we can’t help, we’ll know a man who can. The Hall Farm team will be pleased to help you anytime.

Norfolk is famous for offering relaxing countryside walks, wildlife, fishing, and many local National Trust locations, not forgetting our relaxing Holiday Cottages Norfolk style, plus the award winning sandy beaches and coastline.
The Norfolk Broads are also famous for boating and providing access to many local pubs and restaurants. Norfolk offers an attractive holiday option with Hall Farm holiday cottages providing a range of holiday cottages to suit the vast majority of tastes and budgets.
Our Norfolk Broads Cottages are situated between the villages of Horning and Ludham.
HORNING VILLAGE is situated on the River Bure, has a range of shops, including a Newsagents, which is licensed and also does the lottery. A local butchers, Post Office, Deli, tea rooms and gift shops. There are also several pubs in the village, most of which will open all day during the season.
LUDHAM VILLAGE has a small supermarket, a very good local butcher, garage and a hairdresser. The Kings Arms pub, situated in the centre of the village, has an extensive menu. There is a small Tea Room, Alfresco’s for lighter snacks.
There is a small General Store within walking distance of the cottages, on Ludham Bridge for newspapers and groceries. Opening hours 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (in season).
If you would prefer to do your grocery shopping on-line, you have a choice of Tesco, Asda, Waitrose or Sainsbury’s. We do ask that you try and get an afternoon delivery.

Ferry Marina is located in Horning, they have a range of
boats to suit most budgets and requirements. Life jackets and
fuel are included in the price and you will be given tuition and route advice
before setting off on your adventure.
There is a wheelchair friendly dayboat available, it is best to book in

The Southern Comfort, Mississippi River Boat : moors next to the Swan Inn, and runs luxury river trips at various times. It has a small bar if you enjoy a Pimms or a cup of tea. You can sit back and relax and watch the world go round.

The Swan Inn, Horning: Used for the settings for two of Arthur Ransom’s childrens books. This is a lovely pub with very good food. It overlooks the River Bure and serves food all day.
Fishermans Return, Winterton-on-Sea: After a lovely walk on Winterton Beach, you have to stop here. This dog friendly pub is a favourite to both locals and visitors to the area. All meals are prepared to a very high standard, using local produce where possible. Tel: 01493 393305
