Set within the grounds of Woodside House and surrounded by pastureland and woodlands. This is the perfect place to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that this very private location has to offer in Monmouthshire.
We also offer accommodation for anyone travelling with their horses in the Monmouthshire countryside.
The stables have been converted to a four star self catering cottage 4 people. With a fully equipped kitchen/ breakfast room, one double bedroom/ twin room, a very spacious living room with large sofa bed, shower room, patio area with barbeque and plenty of parking its an absolute gem in the tumbling Monmouthshire countryside. The stables have the advantage of being all on one level with easy access which makes it ideal accommodation for families and people who require wheel chair access.
For People exploring the Monmouth countryside on horse back we can accommodate both horse and rider in comfort. Not only that but as a guest we offer a small gym area including weights, rowing machine, exercise bike, multi gym piece and to keep the kids happy a full sized table tennis table. We provide tea, coffee, sugar and milk and you will be greeted with fresh flowers upon your arrival.

The local area offers a wide range of activities from the Offa's Dyke, Three Castles Walk and The Wye Valley Walk to horse riding across the black mountains or even kayaking down the river Wye, you can't help but get out and about.
We are but a stone's throw from some of the best golf courses in Wales. The Celtic Manor, Newport only 25 minutes away will be hosting the Ryder Cup in 2010. The Rolles of Monmouth and the Monmouth golf course themselves are both within 5 miles of Woodside House Stables and are two of the oldest and prettiest golf courses in Wales.
If racing is your cup of tea we are 20 miles away from Chepstow race course for some fantastic days out including the Welsh Grand National. Not forgetting Cheltenham race course less than an hour away which host the greatest national hunt festival of all. This runs from the 14th March -17th March
If golf or horse racing isn't your thing there are many other activities on our doorstep from fishing on the Usk to Hot air ballooning.
