Maxmills Farm Cottages, Winscombe in Somerset are situated in a quiet Mendip Valley on a working farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty. A good area for walking, fishing and touring the South-West of England. Close to Cheddar, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol, Bath and Bristol Airport.

Three of the self catering cottages have been converted from stone barns whilst the fourth, overlooking the mill pond, is attached to the owner's home. Cottages are open all year with log burning stoves in each, in addition to full heating by electric night storage heaters. SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE IN LOW SEASON.

Cottages are equipped to a high standard and accommodation includes:

Cotton linen and duvets provided free of charge.
Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, electric cooker, microwave, CD/cassette player, colour TV, video, hairdryer.
Garden furniture, highchair, travel cot and safety gates also provided.
Shared Games Room with table-tennis, videos, books, games and tumble dryer.

Maxmills Cottage is a two bedroom cottage which sleeps four plus a baby. Set apart from the other cottages, which overlooks a picturesque millpond. It has a safe enclosed walled patio with outdoor furniture, and is a former miller's cottage attached to the owners home.

Ground Floor: Well Fitted kitchen / dining room containing dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge and microwave. Comfortable, beamed sitting room with inglenook and wood-burner, colour TV, VCR and CD player.

First Floor: Double bedroom and twin-bedded room. Bathroom / WC (with shower over bath) with electric shaver point and heated towel rail.

Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Cotton bed linen and duvets supplied free of charge.
Towels available for overseas visitors.

HoneyAcre Cottage is a cosy and comfortable single-bedroom cottage which sleeps two plus a small child, with a draped double bed and en-suite bathroom.

Ground Floor: Beamed, open-plan sitting / dining room with wood-burning stove, colour TV, VCR and CD player. A well equipped kitchen containing dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge and microwave.

First Floor: Double bedroom with draped bed and en-suite bathroom / WC (shower over bath) with electric shaver point and heated towel rail.

Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Z-bed for children under five years old also available. Cotton bed linen and duvets supplied free of charge. Towels available for overseas visitors.

Barrowmead Cottage is very comfortable, three bedroom, two-bathroom cottage, which sleeps six plus a baby. This cottage enjoys lovely views of open countryside, and has a small patio with garden furniture.

Ground Floor: Open-plan sitting / dining room with wood-burning stove, colour TV, VCR and CD player. A well equipped kitchen containing dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge and microwave. Twin-bedded room with colour TV and door to patio. Bathroom / WC (shower over bath) with electric shaver point and heated towel rail.

First Floor: Double bedroom. Twin bedded room. Bathroom / WC with shaver point and heated towel rail.

Challey's Cottage is a south-facing single storey, two bedroom cottage, which sleeps four plus a baby. This cottage has a small garden and patio area with furniture, which has open views to the hills and countryside.

Ground Floor: Very comfortable, beamed open-plan sitting / dining room with wood burning stove, colour TV, VCR and CD player. A well equipped kitchen containing dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, fridge and microwave. One double bedroom and one twin bedded room. Bathroom / WC (shower over bath) with electric shaver point and heated towel rail.
