Lomentor, our largest cottage, takes its name from the buzzards circling in the thermals of the valley’s woods. Pretty in pink, with attractive beams and exposed stonework throughout, Lomentor is extremely popular for large families and groups of friends holidaying together.
An ‘upside-down’ cottage, it has been carefully planned with the bedrooms downstairs and living rooms upstairs to ensure the wonderful far-reaching countryside views can be enjoyed by all whilst dining and relaxing. Downstairs comprises of the four bedrooms (three of which have washbasins) and a large bathroom with full size bath, washbasin and WC. Also on the ground floor is a useful porch area, leading out to a large outdoor patio area for your private use. Stairs in the cottages main hallway lead up to the first floor; which consists of a large separate living room with beautiful views and plenty of comfortable seating for all, a spacious kitchen/dining room also with stunning picture postcard views (and dishwasher!), and an additional large shower room with modern shower, washbasin and WC.
Sleeps 8 - Two double-bedded rooms, one twin bedded room, one bunk bedded room.

Pheasants Walk
An unusually spacious and extremely attractive original barn conversion, Pheasants Walk is mainly a one-storey cottage, with a small first floor on one side. Facing south-east, the ground floor accommodation comprises of a very large open plan living area, including a fully fitted kitchen (with dishwasher), dining area and large lounge, a bathroom and two bedrooms. Patio doors lead from the living room out onto your own outdoor seating area with countryside views. The main bedroom is a very spacious double-bedded room set off from the living room area. The second bedroom on the ground floor is a twin bedded room set off from the main hallway/entrance. The bathroom comprises of a corner bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC. A staircase from the ground floor hallway area leads up to the first floor, which consists of an additional double bedroom with en-suite shower room, including a modern shower unit, washbasin and WC. Magnificent original beams and exposed stonework make this a truly original cottage.

Falcons Crest
This splendid south-east facing ground-floor apartment, with its own entrance, is especially suited to those who prefer a cottage with no stairs. Large patio doors into the living room from your own outside seating area, provide plenty of morning and midday sunshine both indoors and out. There are character stonework features and wooden beams throughout.

An L-shaped open-plan reception comprises of a living/dining area and fully fitted pine kitchen, leading towards the back of the property with the bedrooms and bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has twin beds, and the large bathroom has a full size bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC.

Ducks Nest
Facing south-east to catch the morning and midday sunshine, Ducks Nest has been converted from an original farm barn into a pretty two-storey cottage, with wooden beams and exposed stonework features throughout.

Accommodation is divided into: Downstairs - an open plan reception with fully fitted pine kitchen, dining area, and living room. Patio doors lead from the living room to your own outside seating area. Upstairs are two bedrooms, including the main double ‘four poster’ bedroom and a separate twin bedroom. The bathroom includes a full size bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC.
Sleeps 4 - One double-bedded room, one twin bedded room.

The Granary
as the name suggests, used to be the farms grain store after harvesting. It has been ingeniously converted to a two-storey split-level cottage, with is both spacious and full of character.

The ground floor is a larger than average twin bedded room with a door leading to the cottages own outdoor seating area, and internal stairs leading up to the open-plan split-level living area. The fully fitted kitchen, dining area and bathroom are on one level, whilst the living room area and double bedroom are a few steps up. The bathroom has a full-size bath, washbasin and WC. The Granary’s original beams and exposed stonework complete the picture of a perfect country cottage.

Buzzards Perch
Above Falcons Crest, this first floor apartment has a picture window in the living room with magnificent views across the valley. Reached by an outside wooden staircase to your own entrance, Buzzards Perch has an L-shaped open-plan reception comprising of living/dining area and fully fitted pine kitchen, leading to the two bedrooms and bathroom at the rear.

The main bedroom is double-bedded, the second is bunk-bedded, and the spacious bathroom has a full-size bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC. As with all Longcombe cottages, there are character stonework features and wooden beams throughout.

Badgers Rest
The sister to Ducks Nest, this attractive cottage is similarly laid out and also has patio doors leading to its own outside seating area.

Downstairs there is an open plan reception room as described for Ducks Nest. Upstairs is a main double ‘four poster’ bedroom, a separate bunk-bedded room, and a shower room with modern shower unit, washbasin and toilet.

Stable Cottage
An east-facing, delightful cosy single-storey cottage for two. As the name suggests, this cottage was once used as the farms’ stables, and retains the original wooden ceiling beams and exposed stonework features throughout.

Accommodation is divided into: a double-bedded room, lounge with ‘breakfast bar’ style dining area, large shower room with washbasin and WC, and a separate fully fitted kitchen with a view across the valley.
Sleeps 2 - One double-bedded room.
