Little Water is a 10 acre smallholding with, as the name suggests, over an acre of water for fishing and bird watching; there is also an abundance of wildflowers at certain times of the year, which makes for a perfect country holiday.

At present there are Dorset Down Sheep, ducks, chickens and sometimes Tamworth Pigs. There is easy access from the A30, Cornwall’s main trunk road, and with Perranporth with its magnificent beaches, Newquay with its many attractions and Truro, our wonderful cathedral city, on the door step its an ideal location for any holiday.

With our knowledge of self-catering holidays we give a warm welcome to all, so come and enjoy a stay at our delightful cottage with special facilities for special people.

We realise that everyone’s needs are different and we hope to accommodate these needs.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a charming two bedroom converted brick barn, with under-floor heating and situated on the east side of the courtyard, with views to the rear over the sheep meadow and valley.

The main living space is open plan with bedrooms off at either end; there are also doors to the courtyard and rear garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with full sized oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

The main bedroom has an en-suite wet floor shower room and with easy access onto the courtyard. The second bedroom has an en-suite enclosed shower facility. The garden has a patio area with patio benches and table, and to the south is the orchard.

Car Parking is adjacent to the Cottage.

Open all year, with flexible booking, with minimum stay of three nights and longest stays of 28 days.

All towels, bedding, electricity and heating are included in the price.

All year fishing on our lake together with sea, trout and course fishing arranged locally.

Out of season special weeks also catered for.

Painting for the Disabled, Beginner’s Watercolour Painting, get Crafty! And Pastoral Care breaks.

We are happy to offer special facilities for people on the autistic spectrum, e.g. special bedding requirements etc.

We always provide a welcome cake with tea and coffee and are happy to provide a meal at extra cost.

We have the most delicious local food, which we can obtain on your behalf, bread, vegetables (organic), meat, cheese, eggs, ice cream and fish is delivered on Tuesdays from Newlyn.

Being centrally situated in Cornwall we are in easy reach of the North Coast and can often hear the sea breaking on the beach at Perranporth; this is a magnificent beach with three miles of golden sands. With a bit of help from the wind and tide the surf can be superb and with so many surf beaches close plenty of opportunity to ride the waves.

The coastal path is much appreciated whether you want an invigorating walk or a gentle stroll such as at St Agnes with it’s mining relics; we provide local guides so you will have no difficulty enjoying the area. There are many local attractions to please all ages and tastes - talking of tastes Callestock Cider Farm is near, also Trerice with its National Trust restaurant and plenty of local Inns serving local produce.

For family fun visit Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Holywell Bay Fun Park, Springfields and Newquay has many attractions. Newquay Zoo, Screech Owl Sanctuary and the Blue Reef aquarium can be recommended for animal lovers. Or why not visit our Capital city Truro with it’s Cathedral dominating the landscape, it’s many shops, theatre, gardens and riverside walks, or if you want a quieter pace try Padstow with it’s charming harbour, overlooking the Camel estuary.
