Cliff Farm Cottage - The cottage is situated 3 miles north of Historic Lincoln on a working mainly arable farm, in the heart of the countryside with panoramic views over the Trent Valley. Totally secluded garden with patio and level access throughout. The cottage is completely wheelchair friendly. Relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity, and in the evening view the remarkable sunsets.

The spacious cottage sleeps 4 persons, plus cot, and comprises a living area (21ftx19ft) with a log effect gas burning stove for cosy winter evenings, comfortable seating, dining table and beamed ceiling with brick archway leading through to the kitchen.

The master bedroom (16ftx10ft) has a king-size bed and room for a cot, with en-suite facilities comprising a spacious Wet Room for the family with a floor level shower adapted for our less mobile guests

The second bedroom (14ftx10ft) has two full size single beds with a spacious bathroom (10ftx10ft) opposite, with bath and separate shower.

Children are most welcome and we have a cot and high chair. We do not cater for pets, and request non-smokers only please.

The kitchen (21ftx8ft) is equipped to a high standard, and includes a special lower work unit with two electric hobs and a combination microwave.

The en-suite has been equipped to allow wheelchair users full access to all facilities. The toilet is situated so that it is open on one side to allow for wheelchair access and has grab rails and bars to assist transfer in and out of wheelchairs. The main grab rail folds up when not required. The walk-in shower and low level shower controls has grab rails and seating that can also be folded away when not in use. A portable shower chair is available on request for guests use.

Cliff Farm Cottage is ideally situated to enjoy the diversity of the attractions that Lincolnshire has to offer. Situated 3 miles north of historic Lincoln with the magnificent Cathedral dominating the City, and Lincoln Castle housing the Magna Carta exhibition. The Bailgate area leading down the Steep Hill with it's cobbled streets and many quaint shops and restaurants. At the bottom of Steep Hill the Usher Art Gallery, the Collection Museum and the Theatre Royal with varied programmes for your entertainment.

Walks & Cycling: There are many walks and cycle routes locally (Lock up shed adjacent to the cottage for cycle storage). Alternatively the Viking Way in the Lincolnshire Wolds (an area of outstanding natural beauty) has many lovely walk., Discover where Sir Alfred Tennyson was born and the beautiful village of Tealby. The coastline includes Skegness and Cleethorpes having wide expanses of sandy beaches, and wildlife nature reserves.

Stately Homes & Beautiful Gardens: Burghly House, Grimsthorpe Castle in the south of the County. Closer to the cottage, Doddington Hall, Gainsborough Old Hall, and National Trust properties including Belton House, and Tattershall Castle. Come and discover the splendour of our churches Boston Stump, Stow Minster and nearby Scampton (with many War graves). There are many antique centres and shops within a 20 mile radius

Bomber County: there are airfield trails, and many museums and memorials dedicated to the role of the county in World Wars. The RED ARROWS will be leaving nearby Scampton their base for many years and are due to be relocated to Waddington south of Lincoln; however they will still be seen practising their manoeuvres in this area.

Farmer's Markets are held regularly throughout the county, come and discover The Tastes of Lincolnshire in particular the famous Lincolnshire sausages.

Sporting Scene: Golfing enthusiasts are well catered for with many golf courses within a 20 mile radius. Market Rasen Race Course is about 30 minutes away. A Point To Point course, situated immediately to the east of the cottage at the Lincolnshire Showground. Local riding stables about 10 minutes away. Leisure Centres in Lincoln which have swimming pools and all the usual facilities.
