Recently renovated luxury holiday accommodation situated on our working sheep farm in the heart of Bronte Country. Far Wanless Farm is situated on the outskirts of the village of Trawden which is the ideal base for exploring the Pendle countryside and beyond.

Close by is the hamlet of Wycoller with walks on the Bronte Way, Haworth being nine miles away. The market town of Skipton can be reached within 25 minutes and on to the Yorkshire Dales. With hill walks, canal paths, cycle rides and heritage museums, there's plenty to see and do.

Accommodation

The cottage is actually the old stables adjoining our 16th century traditional Lancashire farmhouse and are themselves over 200 years old. Your holiday cottage is centrally heated and sleeps 4 people in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom plus there is a folding bed if required, a cot is also available. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Spacious lounge-dining room, plenty of comfortable seating to relax and unwind. Large dining table. Large TV and video player. Feature electric fireplace. Traditional stairs leading to first floor.

The Large slate floored galley kitchen has under floor heating and contains a breakfast bar, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer. A stable door leads on to the patio area.

There is a small utility room with vacuum, ironing board etc.

The double bedroom overlooks the old cobbled farmyard and stone barn with open countryside views in the background. The bedroom has ample space for a cot which we can supply if required.

The twin bedroom has views over open fields.

Both bedrooms are provided with combination robes and bedside tables plus a hairdryer is available.

The bathroom is down three small steps with handrail. The spacious airy bathroom has a skylight and extractor fan, bath, separate shower, toilet and sink unit. Between the bathroom and steps there is a large landing area perfect for storage, and is large enough to be used as an additional sleeping area using a folding bed which we can supply.

Situated on the border between Lancashire and Yorkshire we have some of the best of both counties on our doorstep. Sightseeing, history, shopping all close by and too many to list here. The cottage has a large collection of leaflets and guides.
