Crook Hall Farm and our self catering cottage are situated in the beautiful west Lancashire countryside in an area ideal for walking, bird watching, cycling and horse riding. The area boasts some excellent public houses offering a wide selection of ales and premiere cuisine. You are guaranteed to have a relaxing time in the area and in our holiday cottage that has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The self catering cottage lies within a Lancashire working farm and livery yard dating from the 19th century.

The holiday cottage is a recently renovated traditional brick built piggery, dating back to the 19th century, situated on a traditional Lancashire farm. It has a slate roof and has been tastefully restored but retains its character from bygone days.

The holiday cottage consists of a fully fitted, traditional but modern kitchen and dining area with an open plan lounge overlooking open countryside. There is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a sofa bed offering additional sleep space if required.

Bed linen and towels are supplied and there is a TV with 'free-view' and DVD player.

Outside is a landscaped garden with patio area, BBQ facilities and garden furniture.

We provide off road parking and secure storage for bicycles and also 'boot wash' facility for walkers.

Malt kiln cottage at Crookhall farm is situated in the heart of rural west Lancashire, yet is only a 10 minute drive from J27 on the M6. It is ideally placed, enabling guests to enjoy the beautiful countryside and the many varied attractions, Southport on the coast is only 9 miles away and Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District are all within easy reach.
