We breed Pedigree Holstein Freisian Cattle and Beef Store Cattle, mainly Limousin and Aberdeen Angus.

Visitors are welcome to help feed and collect eggs from our free range hens who roam around the farm.

Some of our land is in the Environmental Stewardship Scheme and is managed to preserve the traditional look of the countryside and encourage wildlife. Our hedges and dry stone walls are traditional field boundaries in this part of the country.

In our conservation work we have been helped by local volunteers from the community, Wyre Countryside and Lancashire Countryside Services.

The open rushy pastures of Higher Landskill Farm are an ideal habitat for waders, including snipe, curlews, oystercatchers and lapwings. We are working closely with RSPB to improve the habitat and now have our own bird watching hide where the wading birds can be observed.

Every Spring the swallows return to nest in the farm buildings.
Our land is home to rabbits, brown hares, partridge and pheasants. We also have a pond where you may see ducks, moorhens and the occasional heron.
