LOCATION

Seasalter

Seasalter is situated on the North Sea coast, facing Essex across the Thames Estuary and the Isle of Sheppey across The Swale. This area, west of the main town of Whitstable, was once used as an extraction source for sea salt. The sea was kept in shore based enclosures and the water evaporated to leave the sea salt for collection. Spend a quiet, relaxing holiday in Seasalter, or use The Beach House as a base to explore further a field.

Whitstable

No more than a 7-10 minute drive away is Whitstable, a fishing port that’s famous for its Oysters. There’s a Saturday market and lots of interesting, eclectic, and attractive shops along Harbour Street. Whitstable also contains a vibrant contemporary arts scene and a range of independent art galleries to browse.
