Our properties consist of self catering holiday cottage accommodation and a Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, located in rural Benenden - in the heart of the Weald of Kent - The Garden of England.
If you love to visit gardens we are ideally situated. The word famous National Trust Gardens of Vita Sackville-West at Sissinghurst Castle are only a few minutes away. As are several other fabulous gardens including Great Dixter and Pashley Manor.
Far from traffic noise and light pollution, both the holiday cottage and the Farmhouse B&B are places of complete peace and quiet...
Views stretch over a patchwork of fields, woods and valleys with country walks, and a cosy pub fifteen minutes' stroll away.
Ramsden Farm Self Catering Holiday Cottage Accommodation in Kent was the milking parlour for a dairy farm set deep in The Weald of Kent. Converted by skilled craftsmen using local materials, it is equipped for year-round comfort.
Sleeps 6 to 7. One double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, plus single bed in upstairs sitting room (cot available on request).

A sitting room, kitchen-dining room, twin bedroom, shower-wet room are on the ground floor, which has oak and cherry wood floors. The kitchen has solid oak work surfaces and is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave oven, dish washer and fridge freezer. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. The shower is big enough for two. The whole cottage is centrally heated, though a wood-burning stove makes it especially cosy in winter. |

DVD player, some DVD's to watch, and a large selection of board games,
if you want a quiet evening in. The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms, (with a spare bed on the upstairs landing). The master bedroom and double bedroom upstairs are served by a bathroom with an antique tub. The twin bedroom downstairs has antique French walnut beds. The cottage has a large enclosed courtyard garden to give total privacy. Facing south, it has views over the Weald countryside. There is a barbecue for al fresco eating, and bikes for children to enjoy. Ramsden Farm is on the outskirts of the village of Benenden, a classic Wealden village with a handsome cricket green, local shops and three excellent pubs. The historic market towns of Cranbrook and Tenterden provide the nearest shopping centres.Staplehurst station is 15 minutes' drive away. Trains to and from London run every 30 minutes (every hour on Sunday). London is 56 miles away and the journey is one hour.
