Home Farm sits in the middle of Barton, a hamlet, which consists of about a dozen or so houses. Barton is an important historical location and has what historians call 'group listing'. This is a term given to a group of properties when at least three of them are Grade II listed. In this case Barton has four farmhouses which are Grade II listed. Home Farm is one of these.

Past occupants of Home Farm
