St Katherine's is so named to preserve the historical
memory of Hidelow, which was bequeathed to the St. Katherine's Trust in the year
1240. Hidelow remained in the possession of the St. Katherine's Trust until we
purchased it from them in 1993. The neighbouring farm and the Almshouses in
Ledbury still remain in the ownership of the Trust.
