Whitecroft Studio - We offer self-catering accommodation, either short or
long term, in an idyllic rural location close to Stansted Airport and the
Henry Moore Foundation. Easy access to M11, A10, Cambridge and London.
We are conveniently located for Stansted Airport, yet set in a beautiful rural
woodland location. We offer a friendly welcome and comfortable accommodation.
'The Flat' is located above our garage and is therefore both independent and
private, perfect for either a 'flying' visit or perhaps for a longer break in
the country. It is accessed via an outside iron staircase and is completely
separate from the main house with its own private entrance so you can come and
go as you please. It is comfortably furnished with a king-size bed and has a
separate shower and toilet and also a kitchenette equipped with a mini oven with
two rings, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster. We provide tea, coffee, milk,
sugar, biscuits, towels and linen. We have ample parking and can arrange
transport to the airport. Colour tv and wi-fi available.
Westland Green is 10 miles from Stansted Airport, 11 miles from Hertford, 25
miles from London, 30 miles from Cambridge and 4 miles from Bishop's Stortford.
There are regular train services from Liverpool Street, London to Stansted
Airport and Cambridge.
Westland Green is a small hamlet set in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. We
have two pubs within a mile, both good. The Nags Head in Little Hadham offers
good, honest pub food, good beer and a very friendly welcome from Paul and
Natalie. The Kick and Dicky in Wellpond Green is more of a gastro pub and is
also very popular. There are many other good country pubs in the surrounding
villages.
We are also just a couple of miles from the Henry Moore Foundation in Much
Hadham.
