Woodhouse Farm Cottages - We work hard to provide a friendly and courteous welcome to all our guests and a relaxing and peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. Here there is privacy and space, attention to detail and the sort of comfortable living you would find in a traditional English country home. Owners, Sue and David live on site to welcome you and make you feel at home the moment you arrive.
Many of our guests return often and we are always delighted to see them. This comment by Rosemary and Brian from South Wales sums up what we try to provide. "In over 40 years of self-catering, we have never found better."
Book the two cottages separately or together for a special occasion to arrange an unforgettable treat for your family and friends.
The Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the ideal place to explore Herefordshire, the Cotswolds and the Welsh Marches. Described as the most beautiful county in England, Herefordshire is both unspoilt yet accessible. Near the ancient town of Ledbury, this is the gateway to the heart of England. Within a little over an hour you can be in Bath, Shakespeare country, Wales or Shropshire yet we are only a little over two hours from London and Manchester.
Our cottages are 5 star so you can expect high standards.

South-facing, Daubentons overlooks field and woodland with views towards Ledbury and the Malvern Hills. Converted from a hop barn and two hop kilns, it provides living and kitchen accommodation upstairs to make the most of the lovely views, with four double bedrooms downstairs. The partially glazed roof allows light to flood into the high-ceilinged dining and sitting area which leads onto a tiled balcony overlooking the formal part of the garden, with field and woodland beyond. In winter, the open fire provides a wonderful focal point. The space is large enough to host a great party.
The oak staircase, limestone fireplace, Aga and en-suite bedrooms testify to the care and attention which has been taken in this conversion.
Originally a building for the storage of wagons, The Wainhouse has been carefully converted to provide a secluded sanctuary for two people. At least fifty metres away from the other properties, it is a haven set by itself with its own parking.
The large bedroom overlooks the walled terrace through one of three beautiful arched windows and includes an antique mahogany press amongst its furnishings.
The living area also overlooks the south- facing terrace through the second and third archways so that the room is always light.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher plus washer-dryer.
A shrub border with lilac, mahonia, rose and other plants acts as a screen between the parking outside the front door and the rest of the property. A birdfeeder, hung in this area outside the kitchen window, provides guests with endless entertainment.
The walled terrace is stone-flagged and has climbers growing up and around a wall-mounted water feature and a pergola which gives shade in one corner of the area. There is a vine, passion flower, pyracantha and winter-flowering clematis with white wisteria and honeysuckle near the front door.
Beyond the terrace is a grassy area with a crab apple tree surrounded by other plants.
