White House Cottages - Our
five well equipped self catering holiday cottages are situated in a small hamlet
5 miles west of Ledbury, surrounded by Herefordshire's idyllic countryside.
The former farm buildings have been
carefully adapted to create very comfortable and individual holiday
accommodation.
Aylton, a conservation area, makes the
perfect location for a quiet and tranquil retreat.
Long Barn - Converted
from a single storey/ground floor barn with exposed beams, the Long Barn is set
in a south facing walled garden with its own small , private woodland and patio
area. Inside is an open plan living/dining room with a gas coal-effect stove in
an attractive brick fireplace and modern well equipped kitchen area. One double
bedroom with space for a cot and one bedroom with three single beds. Sofa bed in
the living room can be used as an alternative to one of the single beds.
Bathroom with toilet, basin and electric shower over bath. The cottage has night
storage and convector heaters.
The Hop Pickers Cottage was
converted from a former barn dating back to the 18th Century. The spacious
living/dining room has a gas coal-effect stove in an attractive brick fireplace
and modern well equipped kitchen area. Outside the front door there is a patio
with garden table and chairs overlooking the south facing walled garden.
Upstairs there are two pretty cruck-beamed bedrooms, one twin bedded room ( with
room for a cot ) and one small double bedroom. The bathroom with toilet, basin,
electric shower over bath and airing cupboard is also upstairs. The cottage has
night storage and fan heaters
The Kiln - This old brick built kiln with working cowl, dating from about 1775 has been converted into an attractive cottage in a courtyard setting. The ground floor is the double bedroom with room for a cot. The bathroom is adjacent, with toilet, basin and electric shower over the bath. The first floor is an open plan living/dining room with a compact, well-equipped kitchen area. Outside the front door there is a patio with table and chairs. The Kiln has night storage and convector heaters.
Welsh Cottage - A tiny, cosy cottage for two set in a south-facing walled garden. The open plan living/dining room has a gas-effect stove and compact, well equipped kitchen area. On the first floor there is a pretty cruck-beamed bedroom with double bed with a bathroom containing a toilet, basin and an electric shower over the bath. There is a small patio outside the front door looking onto the garden.
The Hop Store - A cosy cottage converted from a single storey/ground floor hop store. It is situated next to the Kiln and has its own patio with table and chairs. Inside is an open plan living/dining room with a gas coal-effect stove and a modern compact, well equipped kitchen area. The Hop store has a double bedroom and a bathroom with toilet, basin and electric shower over the bath. The cottage has night storage heaters.
