Treago Castle Cottages have been carefully converted from the stables of the fifteenth century Treago Castle. This quiet, rural location in Herefordshire is an ideal spot for large or small groups to get together in self catering accommodation, yet it is within 9 miles of the M50.
Three comfortable non-smoking self-catering cottages, for 4 to 26 people in total, can easily inter-connect making it an ideal self catering accommodation solution for large groups of family or friends.
The excellent 11 metre indoor heated swimming pool is set nearby within the grounds of Treago Castle. These also include an area of woodland, with many unusual shrubs and trees, as well as a working Victorian walled garden with vineyard.
This unspoilt corner of south Herefordshire boasts much history, castles galore and rural activities to suit all tastes! The village shop and several pub/restaurants in neighbouring villages specialise in locally produced food.
There are three main cottages. The Looseboxes which sleeps 10. The Hollyhock House sleeps 7 (+3) and the Coach House sleeps 4 (+2).
One of our prime features is our indoor heated swimming pool. Available for use all year round from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The pool has a shower and WC available.

The Coach House links internally to both Looseboxes and Hollyhock House. If all three cottages are booked they interconnect for 26 beds maximum.
The Looseboxes Cottage sleeps 10 (+2 cots) in 5 bedrooms and is double-glazed throughout. The Loosebox Cottage at Treago has been converted from the original Victorian stables.
Downstairs a large double bedroom includes a washbasin and additional tv. The second double bedroom has an en suite shower room with wc. There are two compact twin rooms, and a bathroom with wc, but no shower. The utility room, with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron, leads down steps to a private, enclosed garden with furniture and BBQ.
Hollyhock House sleeps 7 + 3 (+ 1 cot) in 4 bedrooms. Downstairs the well equipped kitchen with microwave, double oven cooker, fridge-freezer and dishwasher leads into a dining area. This seats 10, and has a sofa bed (4ft 6ins) for 2 people and additional tv.
The Coach House sleeps 4 + 2 (+ 1 cot) in 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. A 4ft 6 ins sofabed for 2 in the sitting room provides additional sleeping. Alternatively, a Z bed for a child can be fitted in to the twin room.
