Mellington House is an attractively maintained 16th century house set in the centre of the black and white timbered village of Weobley.
Offering self catering accommodation for short or long visits to the area.
We are also able to offer special walking or golfing breaks and even bridge nights.
The Hayloft, converted into an
attractive apartment, exposes its original timbers with mud and wattle
construction. The accommodation combines 16th Century character with 20th
Century comfort and is fully centrally heated. This self contained unit
comprises double and twin bedded rooms, lounge, with colour TV, dining/kitchen
area, bath / shower room and separate toilet.

The Annexe - self contained on
the ground floor comprises a twin bedded room, a sitting room with colour TV,
dining area, kitchen and shower room with toilet.

The Coach House - Self Catering
apartment overlooking the garden. Double room, upstairs. Sitting room
downstairs, shower, Living Room and Kitchen. ( The sitting room can be made to a
single bedroom if required )

The village of Weobley offers many amenities, shops, Post Office, library, museum and crafts. There are also excellent historic inns which offer a wide range of menus.
Herefordshire is one of England’s most rural counties famous for its cattle and cider orchards. Nearby are the Black Mountains and the world famous bookshop town of Hay on Wye. The scenic Wye Valley can be viewed from Symonds Yat Rock near the market town of Ross on Wye. To the north lie the Long Mynd and the Shropshire Hills around Church Stretton and Ludlow. Golfers will enjoy a variety of spectacular courses and walkers will enjoy discovering the delights of the county.
