Bramley Cottage lies in the heart of the Wye Valley in the small peaceful hamlet of Pencoyd, close to its delightful church. Situated close to the main residence, this newly converted luxury self-catering holiday cottage is only five miles from the picturesque town of Ross-On-Wye and near to the cathedral town of Hereford, famous for the Mappa Mundi and the tradition of cider making.
Herefordshire, the Wye Valley and the Golden Valley are all very much unexplored and undiscovered areas of England, hidden beyond the Cotswolds from London and nestling against the border of Wales. It is, therefore, peaceful and picturesque throughout, away from the hussle and bustle of traffic, but never far from wonderful country pubs, of which there are many within just minutes of Bramley Cottage.
The cottage provides the perfect holiday location from which to explore the stunning countryside, whether on foot along the banks of the River Wye to Symonds Yat or on bikes through the Forest of Dean or along the Black Mountains. There are numerous golf courses nearby and the opportunity to canoe gently down the river.
Designed to the highest self catering holiday cottage standards - the owner is an interior designer - Bramley Cottage was converted in spring 2005 and includes all the luxuries and home comforts needed to ensure the best possible holiday or short break in the Wye Valley.
Guests enter into an attractive hallway leading to two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a downstairs loo. In order to maximise the great views of the Herefordshire countryside, the sitting room and kitchen are upstairs and open plan. The bathroom has a large bath and shower.
The cottage has a small lawned garden with patio, tables and chairs and a barbeque.
