Situated in the glorious North Cornwall countryside, our holiday cottages provide cosy, quality, well-equipped accommodation for anything from a short break to several weeks’ holiday, and a perfect retreat at any time of year.

Set in a quiet country lane and surrounded by farmland, the holiday cottages lie within easy reach of many beautiful sandy beaches, magnificent coastal walks, the acclaimed Eden Project and the popular Camel Trail and have convenient road access to all parts of Cornwall. Hawksland Mill is three miles from the friendly town of Wadebridge, which has good shopping facilities, and five miles from the ancient fishing port of Padstow, with its fascinating harbour, shops and renowned seafood restaurants

Heron Cottage
This single storey holiday cottage is approached from the open courtyard through its own fenced garden and a porch and hall. A double-aspect cosy sitting/dining room has a comfortable suite and an attractive natural stone fireplace incorporating a wood burning stove. Sliding doors lead to a lovely bright South-facing conservatory and enclosed paved terrace with views over adjoining Cornish farmland. The bathroom has an instantaneous electric shower above the bath, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Off the hall is a pleasant fully fitted kitchen with pine cupboards and equipped with electric oven/hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

The pretty master bedroom has a double bed and a second colour television set and space for an optional child’s divan or cot. The second bedroom has one 3ft and one 2ft 6ins bed. Each bedroom has good quality beds with feather pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, duvets and spare blankets, a fitted pine wardrobe and bedside lighting.

Well Cottage
Enter this charming single storey cottage through its porch and hallway to a delightful high-ceilinged sitting room with a comfortable suite, natural stone fireplace and wood burning stove. Off the hall are the bathroom, which has an instantaneous electric shower above the bath, shaver point and heated towel rail.

There are two pretty bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, all of which are of good quality and have feather pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, duvets and spare blankets. Each bedroom has a pine fitted wardrobe and bedside lighting..

From the sitting room, sliding doors lead to a bright Victorian style conservatory/ dining room with further doors to a lovely private enclosed garden with lawn, shrubs and terrace and un-spoilt views to the South and West. A decorative archway from the sitting room gives access to the fully fitted pine kitchen, equipped with an electric oven/hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

Leat Cottage
This cosy three-bedroom cottage is entered from the courtyard through a porch and then the hall to an impressive sitting room, which has a comfortable suite. An archway leads into the pretty fully fitted pine kitchen, equipped with an electric oven/hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. French doors lead to a spacious Victorian style conservatory/dining room with further doors opening out to the enclosed private garden with terrace, lawn and shrubs. Un-spoilt views to the West and the Atlantic Ocean beyond can be enjoyed from this aspect of the cottage.

On the ground floor off the hall there is a cloakroom/toilet with a shaver point as well as a lovely bedroom with a double bed, its own shower cubicle, a pine wardrobe and bedside lighting..

Upstairs are two further bedrooms with distant views to Trevose Head, each attractively furnished with twin beds, bedside lighting and a fitted pine wardrobe. All beds are of good quality and have feather pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, duvets and spare blankets.

The family bathroom has an airing cupboard, an instantaneous electric shower over the bath, shaver point and heated towel rail

Lower Mill
To the right of the courtyard and tucked in the corner can be found this light and airy stone cottage, which has a shady outside sitting area.

Enter through the entrance porch and hall to the sitting/dining room, which has a comfortable bed settee for alternative sleeping. There are views to the West and the Atlantic coast in the distance.

From the sitting/dining room there is access through a decorative archway to the well fitted pine kitchen, equipped with an electric oven/hob, fridge/freezer and microwave.

Off the hall is a spacious bathroom with instantaneous electric shower over the bath, a shaver point and heated towel rail.

There is an extremely pretty bedroom with a double bed, bedside lighting, a fitted pine wardrobe and ample space for a cot. The bed is of good quality and has feather pillows, mattress and pillow protectors, a duvet and spare blanket.
