Mizpah Cottage

A restored Grade II listed building. Three star self catering accommodation.

MIZPAH- was built in the 18th century on three storeys with all the original beams made from old ship's timbers. So ceiling and floors have a distinctly nautical feel! the paneling in several rooms is also from old ship's cabins.

On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen finished in antique pine, complete with dresser, table and chairs. There is also a small utility area with dishwasher and washing machine.

On the first floor there's a cosy sitting room and a Victorian-style
bathroom. The second floor has 2 bedrooms: 1 double room with a brass bed and one bunk-bedded room suitable for children or adults.

Situated opposite the Life boat station in the harbour area of the town.

Cherub Cottage

A restored Grade II listed building. Four star self catering accommodation.

Cherub is to be found at the bottom of Fore St, Ilfracombe's oldest street. The street itself is a real mis-match of individual, quaint old houses, linking the High Street to the Harbour.

There has been a dwelling on the site of the cottage for at least 500 years. Turn left out of the cottage and you can see the Lifeboat house and beyond it the harbour, just a minute away.

Like all of our cottages, Cherub has only recently been completely renovated.

On three floors: on the ground floor is the entrance hall. The first floor has a pretty four-poster bedroom, en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin. The second floor has a lovely fully fitted oak kitchen with a carved walnut antique-style dining suite. A comfortable, pretty living room, twin bedroom and Victorian bathroom. As one might expect, the cottage is full of cherubs.

Seraph Cottage

A restored Grade II listed building.

Close to the harbour. Four star self-catering accommodation.

Originally a fisherman's cottage, this charming property has been tastefully restored to make a delightful year round holiday home.

Dating back 500 years, it has a front door made in 1609 and is one of the oldest properties in the town. Close to the harbour, the town and the seafront it nestles in the heart of the harbour area.

The Cottage adjoins Cherub Cottage. Carefully restored to retain many original features and all the period charm.

Ground floor: old beamed ceilings, spacious open plan living room with a Victorian range set in an inglenook dated 1662. Fully fitted kitchen with a stripped pine dining suite.

On the first floor there is a cosy double room with canopied bed and en-suite bathroom, a twin room with a small en-suite shower room with toilet and washbasin.

Eden Apartment

Our garden apartment is entered via a modern well equipped kitchen with a full sized cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/drier.
There is a traditionally furnished, sunny lounge with a dining area overlooking the garden.

The master bedroom has an ensuite shower, there is another twin bedroom which has a separate shower and toilet.

Oriel Apartment

ORIEL is the penthouse apartment in Gabriel House. Built around 1880, it is right on the promenade so from your balconies you get a seagulls view of the beach and bustle of the promenade.
The apartment has three bedrooms:- a double at the front with an ensuite shower room and a small balcony, a small room also at the front with sea views and full size bunk beds. The large twin room at the rear of the house has french windows opening on to the veranda. This bedroom also has an ensuite shower room. A bathroom at the rear of the apartment completes the list of rooms.

Raphael Cottage

Frontline 2 bedroomed apartment with the most amazing views in the town - uninterrupted views of Wildersmouth Beach, Capstone Hill and the Welsh coast. Enhanced by a wonderful large decked terrace. A perfect place to watch the sun set over the sea and to sip a glass of wine.

The master bedroom has an ensuite shower, there is another small bunk bedroom, ideally suited for children. The apartment also has a separate bathroom and toilet.
