Welcome to the website of Cooks Green Cottage, a holiday cottage in Gloucestershire. The holiday let itself is semi-detached and found in the beautiful countryside of the Severn Vale. It has easy access to the region’s towns and cities (5 miles from the M5), places of interest, walking and touring.

The holiday cottage comprises:

• A combined sitting room and diner with multi-fuel wood burning stove. -Starter pack provided with further supplies of wood available.
• Fully equipped kitchen, which includes table and chairs.
• Separate utility area with washing machine & combi-boiler.
• Ground floor bathroom with bath & overhead shower.
• 2 double and 1 single bedrooms.
• Large enclosed garden and off road parking.
• Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, free Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, video, gas central heating, instant hot water.
• Bed linen and towels.
• Travel cot and high chair also available.

The cottage sleeps 5 adults (two double beds and one single) although there is also a pull out sofa bed for extra children. It is a non-smoking house. Well-behaved pets are more than welcome.

Weekly rental prices start at £280. Special Cheltenham Gold Cup week price is available on request. Short stays & weekend breaks are also available. Enquire for details.

Cooks Green Cottage is set in the Severn Vale in rural Lower Apperley and surrounded by beautiful open countryside. Located in the ancient parish of Deerhurst, which is home to the oldest Saxon church in England and the Anglo-Saxon Odda’s Chapel, it is close to the medieval town of Tewkesbury, Regency Cheltenham and the City of Gloucester.

Close to the Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Welsh borders, it is within easy reach of many places of historical and commercial interest with plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and exploration.

Take a day out in Oxford, Birmingham, Bristol or Stratford; ramble across the Malvern Hills; explore the Royal Forest of Dean; stroll along the river Severn or take the kids to Burford Wildlife Park or Cadbury World – there is plenty to do from this central situation in the Heart of England (5 miles from the M5).

Cooks Green Cottage is the ideal base for country walking with footpaths, fields and nature reserves ready to explore beyond the back garden. There are also many local pubs within walking distance.
