The Old House
We have just finished this house and it is done to a very high standard with under floor heating throughout. It is in the middle of the hamlet and has a lawn that goes down to the stream and is surrounded by large trees. The house is an upside down house to make the most of the views.

Granite steps take you up to the front door, which leads into the open plan first floor, with very high beamed ceilings and a large fireplace made with granite stone found in the excavation work done on the building. There are two sofas, one three seat and one two seat, TV, stereo, wide wooden floorboards and loose rugs. Above part of the living room is an open gallery, reached by a fixed step ladder through a hatch.

The other end of the room contains a large well fitted kitchen, dining room and a utility/cloak room. The kitchen is fitted with a electric large double oven, Seimens dishwasher, a big fridge/freezer with water and ice maker and a large square oak table and chairs. The utility and cloak room contains Seimens washing machine and separate dryer, Loo, hand basin, and hooks to hang coats.

A staircase leads you down to the 3 bedrooms, bathroom and wet room. The bedroom at the garden end contains a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, with the original medieval fireplace; arrow slit windows and a window overlooking the front garden.

Spacious bathroom, has roll top bath, limestone floors and under floor heating.

The bedroom in the middle has two twin beds wardrobe and looks on to the front garden.

Facing the middle bedroom is a wet room with shower, sink and loo that has a wooden arch which we had to keep and use or give it to the Museum of Cornwall as it is some three to four hundred years old. The third bedroom at the other end of the house has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, looks over the top garden and has patio doors that lead on to the front garden.

The Long House
This house is set apart, slightly higher up the hill, in its own gardens. The long house has one single, one double, and one twin bedroom. The twin bedroom is downstairs with windows looking onto the front gardens. The single bedroom, off the living room, has floor length windows looking over the front of the house.

Upstairs the entrance to the open gallery is off the staircase and has 2 single low level beds. The double bedroom with en-suit shower room, has a high beamed ceiling and French doors leading to the upper garden.

A large open plan living space with high beamed ceilings through out contains a well equiped kitchen with Fridge/freezer, electric oven, and dishwasher.

The dining area leads on to the sitting room with its log burning stove, two and three seat sofas and large glass doors opening on to a patio area. The house has wooden floors throughout with under floor heating.

The downstairs bathroom and utility room contains a washer/dryer.

Car parking in front of the house for three cars.

Little Pinnock Pella
Little Pinnock Pella was the first house we renovated, and still retains all of its charm. The stone walls in parts of the house are about three feet thick.

The large high beamed sitting room has an open fireplace, two sofas, slate hearth &TV. At one end of the room is a well fitted kitchen with electric cooker & oven, big fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and a large pine table with six chairs. Above the kitchen area is an open gallery with a spring loaded gate, reached by a great sliding stair ladder. The gallery has two narrow mattresses under the eaves.

The property has two bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms is a double with a bathroom which has a Victorian roll top bath. The other bedroom has twin beds and its own shower room. The house has stripped antique pine floor boards throughout with loose rugs.

Oil fired central heating, decorated in light farrow and ball colours.

A large terrace overlooking south facing gardens that lead on to fields and down to a stream.
