The cottage is part of a traditional Welsh longhouse that dates from the 18th Century, with the Roberts family being the eighth generation.

Located in a peaceful setting, accessed by a farm track it provides the perfect retreat with opportunities to explore the nearby cities of Chester and Liverpool, as well as the market towns of Mold, Llangollen and Ruthin.

Talwrn Glas is a Welsh name that translates to 'pleasant verdant place'. The farm holding reflects the traditional Welsh rural landscape with stonewalls, stone gateposts and trees.

An open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area provides you with the maximum flexibility for your stay. The kitchen area is fully equipped with electric cooker, toaster, fridge with a freezer and a dishwasher. The dining area includes a dresser with a table and chairs. The living room overlooks rolling countryside towards the Wirral and Liverpool in the distance.

The large Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and is spacious enough to have easy chairs and a log burner. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a wash basin, WC and a shower over the bath. The second bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom has a single bed.

If staying with a young family we would be pleased to provide a cot and high-chair on request.
