Farleigh Wood is the perfect retreat for touring Bath and the West Country. We have three holiday cottages, each has it's own individual charm and may be rented individually or together for family reunions and parties with the exclusive use of 80 acres of completely private woodland.

Enjoy nature throughout the year
Spring and early Autumn are the best times to enjoy the woodland at it's most colourful. In Winter there is a raw beauty and is great for family get-togethers at Christmas. April sees the Wild Garlic and May brings the bluebells and Wood Anemone. The fresh green leaf of the Spring soon closes over to make a verdant canopy lending itself to cool walks in the hot summer. Late September and October see the wood ablaze with Autumnal colours.

Please note, 'Farleigh wood' is a working wood and is used for timber crops and shooting in season. If you like a walk on the wild side you may like to bring your boots.

Self Catering Holiday Cottages
Beech Holiday Cottage, the largest of the three, is perfect for large groups and families. Oak Holiday Cottage offers a superb base to explore Bath with your family. Ash Holiday Cottage is ideal for couples who want a quiet and relaxing break.

Ideal for visiting Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Longleat, Glastonbury, Cheddar caves, Wookey Hole, Salisbury, Wells, Bristol, and a wealth of historic attractions located in the South West of England.

With it's gothic stone mullion windows in the kitchen and living room (and bedrooms for a family of 7 plus double sofa bed), Beech Lodge is very popular with families.

More than enough parking for those who wish to travel independently.

Fully equipped kitchen with seating for eight and another table in the living room for more.

Slate and marble - under-floor heated - and Oak flooring and paneling from our own woodland in the living room. Oak Holiday Cottage is ideal for two couples or a family with two children.

The sitting room is spacious enough to accommodate a fold-away bed of required.

For an escape to a woodland cottage, Ash Lodge has a wood burner in the living room/kitchen and adjacent parking. Wonderful as a winter hide-away or to use as a Summer retreat.

Kitchen equipped with all the gadgets you may have at home including microwave, dish washer, freezer, fridge, and more.

C.D. player/hi-fi unit and video including Cable TV.

Slate and marble under floor heating with a cosy bedroom.

There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room area.

With sheep in the paddock and free-range hens, Farleigh Wood has plenty of space for children to let off steam without ruining the peace for their parents! There's a wealth of restaurants and pubs to suit every taste with beautiful walks to work up an appetite for. If you are more energetic, the Wiltshire cycle way runs directly past Farleigh Wood.

Situated just off the A36 we are ideal for exploring the West Country and are just 7 miles from the Roman city of Bath.
