All our cottages are located within half a mile of each other in a river valley of outstanding natural beauty.

With 10 acres of fields and half a mile of riverbanks abounding in wildlife, this rural location is a perfect retreat for long or short-term country breaks

The Stable
This is our smallest cottage located in a courtyard setting and comfortably furnished for two people in deceptively spacious ground floor accommodation.

With parking to the rear and direct access to the orchard, the River Frome and the surrounding fields. This centrally heated property offers the following facilities for guests.

From the entrance door and into the central reception area you can access the well-furnished lounge, the shower room and toilet or the fitted and fully equipped kitchen and dining room.

From here a door leads to a comfortable double bedroom.

The Parlour
In the same courtyard setting this cottage is adjacent to The Stable with easy access to the orchard, the River Frome and the surrounding fields.

Once a milking parlour this property has been tastefully refurbished to comfortably accommodate five people on the ground and first floor.

From the courtyard, the entrance door leads directly into the fully equipped kitchen.

Leaving the kitchen you enter the comfortable lounge and dining area.

Off the lounge there is a door leading to a family bathroom and another door leads you to a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite.

Stairs from the centre of the lounge lead to one twin and a one single bedroom both with views over the orchard and the river.

The Dairy
From the courtyard your entrance into this property takes you into an inner hallway with doors leading to the fully fitted kitchen, the family bathroom and the lounge/dining room.

Off the lounge a further door leads you to an en suite bedroom with king sized bed.

A central staircase from the lounge takes you to another double bedroom and a twin bedded room.

From the kitchen a door opens on to a private patio and lawn. From the garden a path leads to the orchard, adjoining fields and the river

The Barn
Formerly a granary store and barn this property has been carefully converted into a large self catering property with three bedrooms on the first floor and a family bedroom on the ground floor.

Entering into the central lobby from the courtyard, there are two staircases leading to three bedrooms (one twin and two doubles) and a door leading to the comfortably furnished lounge off which is a bathroom next to a Family bedroom. (One double and one single bed.)

Also off the lobby another door leads to the fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen is another bathroom along from which is an L shaped dining room.

A door from the kitchen and another from the lounge lead to a spacious patio and lawn. From here a path leads to the orchard, adjoining fields and the river

The Manger
From the courtyard this cottage looks deceptively small, yet once you enter through the hall lobby you walk into a very large lounge and dining room.

Off the lounge one door leads to a double bedroom, another to a large family bathroom and the final door to the fully equipped kitchen.

Also from the entrance lobby, stairs lead to a first floor landing and a twin bedroom and a double room with king size bed.

From the kitchen a door leads to a paved patio garden from which a path takes you to the orchard, adjoining fields and the river.

The Hayloft
Situated at the far end of the courtyard this property boasts views from the first floor over a wildlife pond and surrounding fields and is only a short walk from the local pub.

Off the well-furnished lounge one door leads to the fully equipped kitchen / dining room and another door to the family bathroom.

Stairs from the lounge take you to the first floor landing and from there to a double bedroom with balcony and a twin bedroom.

Outside this property is your own private garden with direct access to the surrounding fields.

The Farrier
Adjacent to The Hayloft at the far end of the courtyard this cottage shares the same outlook and easy access to the surrounding fields and a wildlife pond. A track across the field also leads to the local pub.

Off the fully furnished lounge is a fitted galley kitchen. A door leads into a laundry area and another door to the family bathroom.

From the lounge, a staircase to the first floor takes you on to a landing off which are the two bedrooms, one a twin room the other a large double room containing a king size bed.

The sheltered garden consisting of a lawn and patio area is immediately outside the front entrance.

Mill Cottage
A splendid detached property set in its own walled garden of almost half an acre approached down a private lane.

Originally two farm workers cottages this property has been extensively refurbished and developed into one single cottage boasting 4 large bedrooms, two lounges, a dining room and a kitchen.

From the entrance lobby you enter the fully equipped kitchen and dining room then through to the first of the two lounges.

Doors from these rooms open onto a patio and barbeque area beside the river.

From the first lounge a door leads to an inner lobby, down a corridor to an annexe containing the second lounge off which is a large shower room.

A spiral staircase from this lounge leads to a large double bedroom containing a king size bed and double bed settee.

Stairs from the inner lobby lead to the second floor of the main cottage containing a large family bathroom, two double bedrooms each with king size beds and a fourth twin bedroom.

Iron Mill
Down the same private lane as Mill Cottage, the first and second floors of the original Mill have been refurbished and converted into attractive and spacious living accommodation with views over the surrounding fields, the river and the weir.

Stone steps from the parking area lead to the first floor entrance door and into the large comfortable lounge with a log burner.

Off this, lounge doors lead to the fully fitted kitchen the laundry room, a shower room and toilet and the main dining room.

The central staircase takes you to the second floor landing and the four large bedrooms.

Also from the lounge a further door takes you on to a balcony overlooking the river with steps leading down to the private enclosed riverside garden.

The Farmhouse
An attractive 16th century Grade II Listed Building that has been creatively restored, maintaining many original features.

Completely detached and with a private walled garden this is an ideal property for family reunions or for corporate entertainment.

Through the entrance lobby you enter the Parlour lounge with original flagstone floors and unique walk in fireplace with bread ovens in the recess.

The log fire is a welcoming feature for winter evenings.

From this lounge you enter the central hallway from which you access the fully fitted kitchen, a downstairs washroom, the laundry and garden room, the second lounge with another log fire and finally the formal dining room.

Stairs from the central hallway take you to the first floor landing from which you enter either of four large bedrooms- A twin room with a double bed settee, a double room with king size bed, a four poster double with en suite bathroom and a double room with en suite bathroom. There is also a family bathroom and a large shower room on this floor.

From this first floor landing another flight of stairs lead to the second floor and access to a family bathroom, two more large double bedrooms and one double with a queen size bed. All these have additional double bed settees.

Doors from the kitchen, the laundry room and the dining room lead into the walled garden.
