What we offer...
Meadow Cottage provides peaceful, light, clean, warm, comfortable accommodation, with the added delight of stunning hilltop panoramic views over the beautiful rolling Essex countryside. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The cottage is tastefully decorated with neutral colours, it is very popular with all our visitors. Many guests enjoy watching the wide variety of wild animals and birds on the farm.
Woodland Cottage provides lovely, relaxing, light, clean, warm, comfortable accommodation, with the added delight of views over the beautiful rolling Essex countryside and woodlands. It is very well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The cottage is tastefully decorated with neutral colours. Many visitors return each year. It is popular with families who have young children, with the safe front and back enclosed gardens. Have an extended family holiday by letting 2 cottages, this is also popular with guests.
Orchard Cottage is cosy and warm, the facilities will ensure you have a comfortable stay. The single storey cottage is very suited for the less mobile. It is clean and light with neutral colours throughout. It is well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer letting. The secluded front and back gardens provide relaxing, private, quiet, scenic farm site views.

We cannot eliminate the need to travel by car, but there are local places to visit for Car free days...... beautiful country walks maps provided, woodland walks, a fascinating local village museum which serves excellent homemade refreshments, restored village windmill, old buildings dating back to 1518, 2 churches, river walks, excellent plant nursery, local pub serves good food, village post office and shop, children’s playing field, local cricket/football, meadows for picnics, bird watching, good cycle routes, safe gardens for children to play, buses to local towns
